Vincent looked at her "would you like me to stay here?"

She nodded and scooted over. "Mmhmm."

Vincent smiled at her "ok then, ill stay right here"

"M'kay." She mumbled, closing her eyes.

Vincent smiled at her as he watched her fall asleep

Anna curled up by his chest and fell asleep. Memories flashed within her dreams in short segments.

Vincent sighed as he watched her

She stirred a bit.
Her dad sat on a bench in front of her while she sat in the grass. A crossbow was in his hands. "Now, I'm gonna teach you how to use this." She nodded. He got up and walked over to a target, and handed it to her. "Okay, your four feet away. Just try to make it from here." She looked up him. -

Vincent closed his eyes and relaxed -
He showed her how to hold the bow and shot. Adventually, at eight years old, she got the hang of it. "Great job!" He beamed. He looked young and old, it was a wager. She dusted her jeans off and smiled at him. "Just remember to focus next time you use this. Actually, any time." Then under his breath, turning away from her, he muttered. "Like they said, she'd be a natural."

Vincent started to fall asleep

The scene turned dark, pitch black. The rest of the night was mostly peaceful sleep.

Vincent woke up with the sun in his face.

Anna had woken up, but felt drawn to the warmth of the sheets. Instead, she pulled them closer around her body.

Vincent opened his eyes and smiled at Anna
