Maria sighed closing her book and setting it on the towel, "Fine, but no ones coming with me." She stood up walked over and grabbed a board while saying, "If my dad use to it easily it can't be that hard." Danny gave her a worried look but she ignored it. She walked out to the water and closed her eyes, images passed through her head of all the times she'd attempted to go to the beach after her family died and how she almost did every time. She thought back to how her dad use to do this.

Maria started to paddle out a small-ish sized wave came at her but she dove right under it like her father use to often, she could already hear Danny yelling at her. When she came back up a better sized wave came at her kind of like the ones her father use to surf. She waited till the wave picked her up, and she pushed up on the board, she whipped the tail of her board back wards she could feel the water spray back. On the way down she new she made a huge mistake, she moved her foot slightly and slipped, she fell off the surf board wacking her head off it as she fell into the water. She opened her eyes to try and find the way up but all she saw was her orange hair and some red.

Cloud saw her got under and he saw thr surf board his her. He ran in to the water and started swimming

Danny and Clarke just blankly looked at each other, Kayla frightened, was frozen.
Maria couldn't figure which was was up or down, she'd normally judge by the headache that got worse when she went to deep but her whole head was throbbing. Her mind scattered more when her lungs started to burn. -
Cloud dived and swam twords her. He grabbed her hand and started swing up

Maria's thorough burned, she felt someone grab her hand. She squeezed the hand slightly.

Cloud looked at her when he frlt his hand get squeezed. He swam up and soon broke the surface

Maria felt the surface brake she took a deep breath and started coughing.

Cloud held her up "are you?!?"

Maria stopped coughing. "I'm fine." She whipped her right temple with the heel of her hand and looked at it, "Bleeding, but I'm fine."

Cloud sighed and started swimming to shore with her

Maria looked at him, "Thanks.." She mumbled.
