I think that either one works. The cyborgs will just be more torn between sides because of the robots' orders and the humans' will to fight back against the robots (or hide from the robots). -
the humans could have some kind of battle suit to give to one human to travel with one cyborg, so the humans (or human) can be of more usefulness. and by suit i mean a robot body armor/suit slightly increasing the height of a human and enhancing the average human reaction and strength by ten fold. of course, it will have its faults, but i can get to that later if you want to use the idea.
so, one of us human the other cyborg? you like that? -
