Name: Ariana White
Age: 17
Orientation: Bi
Looks: The pic~
Other: Spends a lot of her time in the woods or at the local animal shelter by herself. -
Changing her name to Cosette, though she goes by the nickname Essie.
There wasn't much the night she crashed. The light from her time device, strapped around her wrist next to the translator band, illuminated the forest clearing she'd fallen into with bright green. She wasn't sure where she was, but her suit clearly had holes in it, as the white slush around her permeated parts of it, numbing flecks of her skin and the back of her neck. She curled in on herself, wincing in pain as she did so. Something had clearly gone terribly, horribly wrong with her device, something that the seller had promised would never happen. As the green light faded, she was left in the chilling darkness, exhausted, pained, and afraid. -
Ari hissed in frustration as yet another fight with her step-mother had left her frustrated and filled with sadness. If her father would just listen.. Wrapping her arms tightly around her thin frame as white flakes of snow slowly drifted around her in a beautiful quietness and darkness. It was just past eleven on a Friday night and she had no plans on heading home anytime soon. This was her home.. Her safety. A blink of green distracted her from thoughts of irritation and tears and with a frown the young girl set towards this clearing that offered a life changing experience soon to come.
-
Essie stared up at the sky. She could see thousands of stars, meaning that they had to be somewhere close to rural, with little light pollution. She knew that if she had a decent telescope, she could see quite a few of the places she'd visited. It distracted her from the cold, in a way.
-
Ari yelped loudly as she hit her toe on a tree root and continued her way into the clearing. It took her a moment until she found a body laying in the snow, her face turned to the stars. "Hello? Oh my gosh are you okay?" Her blue eyes widened in fear and she flew over to the other girls side. Hovering over the girl her blonde hair fell forward and she started to chew on the bottom of her lip. A nervous habit she always did.
-
She couldn't understand what it was saying, but seemed to remember that she could actually move. She started to sit up slowly, wincing with every move, never taking her eyes off of the creature in front of her... whatever it was.
-
Ari backed up and frowned, peering at the girl. Her clothes were in tatters and she appeared to have wounds across her arms and legs. "Hello?" She frowned. Maybe the girl was mute?
-
She stared, a bit confused. Then, murmuring something in a language seeming to consist mostly of sharp consonants and soft, various notes, reached down to the translator on her wrist. She fidgeted with it for a bit, waiting for the creature to speak again.
-
Ari jumped as strange noises escaped the dark haired girls mouth. "Oh my god! You okay? What was that?" Ari blinked wide blue eyes at her and rubbed her face slightly as if making sure this was real.
-
She smiled a little as the translator locked onto the creature's language and started translating their conversation for both of them. The translator, clearly not very familiar with English yet, started to produce a much huskies accent than she had. "Excuse me, the translator band's efficiency was compromised in the crash. What are you? Or, who, I suppose, would be more polite."
-
"M-my names Ariana." She blinked and went back on her heels. "Who.. Or I guess what are you?" She tilted her head to the side as snow flickered around them and got caught in her blonde hair.
-
"That's of little importance. Can you help me? Is your planet usually this cold?" Essie shivered, wrapping her arms around her torso.
-
"I.. I guess." Ari couldn't just leave someone out in the dead night of a cold winter. "No, it's just winter time." She stood up and tugged off her grey hoodie before handing it to the girl. "Here, slip this on." As soon as the warmth of her hoodie left her body she shivered as the cold wind hit her skin. "Can you walk?"
