In a self-governed community, a school of heroes rests. Each student, in their enrollment of the school, was tested for the house they would fit into most. There is the House of the Aggressive, in which rests the untamed, rowdy, fearless children, who practice weapons, weapon making, and fearlessness, as well as combat.There is the House of the Peaceful, who practice the precision of words and agility, combat is a last resort for them. There is the House of the Passionate, who practice the power of loving others, along with the precision of language, and, like the Peaceful, combat is a last resort.
The time of year has come again. Each eighteen year old graduate will be put to the final test. Only two will pass, a male and female, in this pageant of mental, physical, and emotional breaking, and move on to be a hero. Who will win?

The trumpets rang at exactly six in the morning. The school was the largest, and most famous in the area. It was a private school, and expensive. Hard to get into as well. It was a boarding school and a regular school. One of the boarding students was a girl named Fern, who had been up since four getting ready. This next month would be the biggest in her life, and she may or may not pass the test. She wanted to be the cities hero and destroy the evil, such as the mechanical dogs that often attacked pedestrians, she checked her backpack to see if she was missing anything. Her roommate, Veronica, was staggering around the room groggily. She rolled her eyes and rushed out the door.

Zack glared at him before getting out of bed "there, now get dressed and meet me down stairs" Genesis said as he grabbed his sword and walked out. Zack grumbled but did as he was told.

Fern trampled into the dining room as usual. This would be where the morning announcements would be made. "As you know, our annual graduation test starts today." The headmaster started, "There are a hundred graduates, their names as following," The headmaster began to read a long list, and Fern yawned.

Fern didn't catch this wave as she wasn't focusing much. She heard her name called by the headmaster and perked up. "These graduates have came to the age of fifteen, and now, two of them will pass to become heroes, a male, and a female. Now, commencing shall be breakfast, and then, you will all head out to the field. Good luck to you all." Clapping followed.
