Shadow had an interesting thought strike her mind. What if she..escaped from this place? What if she could be more than just the outcast of the group. She could be a loner, a leader, even, if she played her cards right.

Tiger stoped and perched in her tree,this 'wing thing' had became hard.

"Hang on I'm coming" said Mephiles. -
Shadow decided she needed to act on this right now. She walked out of the tent, caught a gust of wind, flapping her wings, and soared as high as she could breath in the dark night. Shadow began to ride the freezing wind-- hopefully somewhere far from the rest.

"Tiger, Eagle. Where are you?" Mephiles said as he rushed through the forest, looking for them.

Shadow continued to glide through the wind, not noticing she was leaving back her family. And even if they were her family, every family parted ways and one point. The time is now, she told herself.

Tiger jumped from her tree and landed infront of him."Well,I'm right here."she said.

"Where is Eagle?" said Mephiles.

Shadow sighed, feeling quite tired at the present moment. It felt good to have escaped though, and the thrill was keeping her awake.

(he left)
"I don't know,I think he was captured."She said -
Shadow moved at her usual sixty miles per hour, the wind wisping past her at about seventy.

"Oh no. We have to go back to camp and get Shadow. She can help us." said Mephiles

"S"She said.

Shadow sighed and dipped down, landing on the roof of the building in a nearby city. Her black hair covered her face, her clothes blended in, and her dark wings folded, she truely looked like a shadow in the night.

Mephiles and Tiger made it back to camp, only to find out she was gone.
