(I'm not sure if that's the author of mine or not.)
It wasn't hard for Francis to get in. The guard at the front recognized him quite quickly. He went straight towards Evangeline's room, prepared to speak to any guards if necessary to get to her. -
If it's not, I think you'd like the book anyways.)
Evangeline mumbled in her sleep, hearing a knock on her door she sat up lightly, hearing her main guard saying someone was coming. She sighed lightly, knowing it was probably her father. She made the room a bit lighter and waited. -
(M'kay. owo)
Francis finally appeared at the front of her room. He dipped his head down in response to one of the guards, and watched as the door was open for him. He slowly walked in. His shiny gold eyes were locked on Evangeline's. "Please do not get upset, princess. I only came to talk." And kidnap you, he thought to himself. He realized she probably wouldn't recognize him, though, for he was wearing peasant clothing- one of the things that some disapproved. -
She blinked lightly at the boy in the door way and sighed, waving him in. "Why do you want to talk to me?" Commoners usually came to seeking advice on some things, which she could usually answer, but this one was different. Somehow she could sense he wasn't normal, but she'd find out what he needed and would shoo him off soon enough.
-
Francis stepped in, closing the door behind them. He went over to her side, bowing. "I'm afraid you wouldn't know me like this. If you can recall my name, I'm Francis Sodorio Vallenmark. I don't enjoy royal garments, and it was a little too hot today for me to wear such thick clothing." He smiled at her, his eyes glimmering. "But if you're still willing to talk, your time is much appreciated."
-
She glared at him, he was the one that sent that letter she stood up and slapped him. "What the hell are you doing here?" She said through a clenched teeth. She didn't want to deal with him, hell she would have rather had her father be in the room than Francis.
-
He winced as he took the hit, but he didn't hit her back. He had been hoping for a nice chat with her. "Look, all I want to do is talk. You didn't have to murder me for it.." He rubbed his cheek, closing his eyes. "What did I do to make you so upset, Evangeline?"
-
She glared at him, maybe she had a bit of sympathy in her eyes as she saw him hold his cheek. "You being alive is the thing that makes me upset. Why are you here a--hole?" She replied bluntly to him, still angry that he was even there in the first place. "You weren't invited here."
-
The blonde's eyes widened at the cold insults he was receiving from her. How could one princess be so rude? He sighed, walking over to her. "You'll find out when you wake up." He pulled out a cloth that had sleeping substance on it, putting it to her mouth. All he'd have to do was say that she wanted to go to his kingdom but she passed out. Simple. Easy. And, of course, fool-proof. The stuff would keep her knocked out until morning.
-
She muffled a scream when she breathed in the substance in the cloth. Her eyes started to close and be half lidded when she muttered lightly under her breath. "You..a--hole..." she dropped and hit the floor as darkness flooded her vision, soon pulling her into the dark abyss of sleep.
-
Francis pocketed the cloth, gently picking her up. He kept his arms wrapped around her as firmly as possible while he carried her out. None of the workers there asked any questions that made it sound like they were suspicious. By the time he had gotten out of the door, it'd be known that Evangeline was spending a month with Prince Francis to see if she'd really say no. At least, that's what the guards knew. Not her father. He couldn't wait to hear her father's reaction.
When the blonde got back to his horse, he mounted her onto him, making sure that she'd be in a position to where she wouldn't be able to fall off. He lead the horse back into the forest. He wanted to get a good distance away from the castle before setting up camp. -
She mumbled lightly and stuggled into his chest unconsciously. Her mind was whirling in her sleep. What the hell was going on? Why would a prince show up and make her fall asleep?! God he really couldn't take no for an answer could he.
-
Francis had to stop them once he ran them into thickets five times. He set up a tent in the dark, taking his time with it (like he had much choice). He smiled at Evangeline's sleeping figure. God, she was beautiful, and if he couldn't have her.. He'd protect her. And her kingdom.
-
She grumbled lightly in her sleep and smiled a bit, not even knowing what she was even dreaming about. She stirred a bit and her eyes opened slightly, seeing Francis setting up a tent, noticing he was watching her sleep. She mumbled lightly and turned on her other side, her back facing him.
-
Francis blushed when he noticed her eyes open while he was staring directly at her. He quickly looked away, a blush appearing on his cheeks. He took an extra ten minutes to finish setting it up. When it was finished, he stood up, picking her up off the horse. He had her half of the tent set up so she had more space than himself.
