"Yeah." Vanessa said. " My little sister was the only one I the house when I woke up." Vanessa barely smiled, because everyday her family was gone and she had to go to one of her friends house for breakfast.

"Okay, here you both are!" Alice handed both Joseph and Vanessa a plate with pancakes on them. "Wow, thanks!" Joseph dug in, feeling very hungry.

Vanessa stared at Joseph gobbling his pancake. She has never seen anyone eat like that before. Laura laughed. " umm..." Vanessa said. Joseph looked over to Vanessa. Joseph nearly ate all his pancakes. Vanessa was just on her fifth bites because it's only been five minutes.

Joseph looked confused. "What is it?" He asked, looking at Vanessa. -
" Umm... Maybe cause I've never seen anyone eat like that." Vanessa said. Laura laughed hard. " Wow! Look at my sisters face!" Laura laughed out.

"Oh!" Joseph laughed too. Alice joined in as well.
