He liked this guy. The energy made school less boring. Austin smiled to himself.
-
"So, any volunteers to go first?" He grinned, waiting. A boy in the back shot his hand up. He was called up. With him, he brought two pencils. "Introduce.yourself and what you do." Mr. Glenn backed off, watching.
-
Austin watched intrigued.
-
"A'ight, my name is Elijah, and I can make all the beats that you wish you could." he joked. Mr. Glenn chuckled as Elijah began. He quickly tapped the pencils on the desk, creating a very fast, catchy beat.
-
Austin listened very closely. His foot tapped along with the rhythmic beats.
-
After a minute or so, Elijah stopped and bowed, going off to his desk. Mr. Glenn, whenhe finished clapping, asked, "Alright, who's up next?" Nathan almost raised his hand, but held back.
-
He sat back in his seat waiting for the next person to go. He himself wasn't very good musically.
-
When he saw that no one else would, Nathan put his hand up. Mr. Glenn noticed him and called upon him. He slowly walked up to the front. "The name is Nathan, and I play piano." He bit his lip, sitting at the piano.
-
When Nathan walked up there, Austin crossed his legs and observed the other student carefully.
-
Nathan began to play the song he was humming earlier, "Fur Elise" by Ludwig van Beethoven. As soon as he started playing, he seemed to get lost in the keys and their music. Something about playing the piano put him in such a relaxed state that it just felt nice. The good part was that he played it exceptionally well.
in case you want to hear
-
This was something that he didn't expect. Holy crap he was amazing!
-
Once Nathan finished, he stood, going straight back to his desk as they applauded. Though he liked playing the piano, he certainly didn't like the attention. It was all too loud and overwhelming, so he just shrunk down and focused on his feet. Mr. Glenn was smiling. "Not many kids I know play Beethoven."
-
Austin was one of the classmates that clapped too. Great performance. Now, he contemplated if he should go up there... He had a bit of experience playing guitar but meh... wasn't worth it.
Dun mind me making him a rock and roll kinda guy)) -
(Hey, I'm not complaining. :DD)
"Now, I shall ask, is there anyone else who would like to go?" He stared at the classroom for a bit. Nathan was messing with his fingernail to calm himself down. -
He cleared his throat. Nope nope, not tempting at all.
