Rowan looked up to the girl who got called up to the stage, as she meekly said her name. Rowan sighed, she only looked about twelve. It was sad such an innocent life had to be wasted. He wasn't listening when he heard his name ripple along the crowd. Rowan looked up, in a mix of shock and fear. He gulped, holding in tears. He managed to hold his head high as he walked up to the stage to state his name. -
