Savanna gasped and slowly pulled the egg into her hands. It was warm in her hands and seemed to feel.. Perfect in her hands. Cradling it gently to her chest she blinked and watched as the chest dissapeard. A deep rumbling voice whispered to her. "You are the savior.. Bring back the dragons.. You are our only hope." And it was gone.

The egg was a dark red with luminous blue speckles. As soon as she picked it up, the glow dimmed slightly, as to not blind her.

"Hello.." She amiled and gently laid it in her bag. Standing up she looked down at the dragon and sighed quietly. She shook her head and walked out and looked up the wall. Jax was still there, wagging his tail. She dug her hands into the hill side and began her climb.

Hello. Ryuune said, even though she wouldn't understand him. He was content now. All he had to do now was hatch.

A tickling sensation seemed to pass across her brain but she ignored it for now. Once at the top she grabbed Jax slightly and together they made their way home.

Ryuune's surroundings began to grow blurry the farther from his cave they left. His consciousness couldn't grasp his surroundings as they moved. So he contented himself to thinking about what it would be like to hatch.

Once she got home she cleaned the rabbits and left them to dry. She crawled inside and stripped down to her under garments and put on her night gown. Savanna put her new egg, stone, whatever it was next to her. "I'm not sure what you are.." She whispered and yawned. "But.. I like you." She passed out.

During the night, Ryuune finally got his wish. The egg cracked open, and he silently pushed his way out. The tiny red and blue dragon nuzzled Savanna's arm, making a high pitched half-meow half-growl noise, hungry.

Savanna yelped and fell to the floor with a thud. She gaped at the creature that peered down at her with big eyes. "What.. Who?" She shook her head slowly.

He made his little noise again, tilting his head and looking down at her.

She scrambled up and shook her head. "What are you?" She whispered softly and leaned forward. Frowning she opened her palm towards the creature like she would with a wild animal.

Ryuune sniffed her hand, then cried again, wagging his tail. The scales on his body caught fragments of sunlight and glittered crimson and aqua.

"You're beautiful.." She whispered and stood up slowly. "Stay." She whispered before rising to her feet. She snuck out into the kitchen and found some dried meat. Slipping back to her room she offered the meat towards the creature. "Do you have a name perpahs? Or should I give you one?"

Ryuune snapped up the meat greedily, licking his muzzle afterwards. He looked up at her with big aqua eyes, and made his growling meow noise again.
