Adam watched him leave and sighed.

Felix breathed through his nose, holding his arm.

Adam sighed, and realized how many scratches he had over his body. Mainly on the feet, hands, and arms, but there were also many on his face and chest.

"f---," he said when he heard the whistle signaling the Nazi Soldiers. He went up to the station.

Adam tried to count this scratches out of pure boredom.

Felix and the others had to sit through a lecture about betrayal.

Adam sighed, comtinuing to do this.

When the crap was over, Felix went and grabbed the crates for lunch.

Adam was still doing so, counting the scratches.

Felix lugged the crates into the barrack.

Adam watched, silent.

He passed out cobbed corn and celery to each person, slowly, but surely.

Adam continued to watch this, his foot tapping.

Felix finally came to Adam. "Tonight is the night."
