The sixteen year-old was about to pull out and exit the driveway when the specialized notification tone beeped. He snatched his phone from it's holder and read over the message with now clear eyes of determination. He smiled sadly at the proclamation of love and wrote:
It's okay. Look, don't beat yourself up. I'll get to you, no matter what it takes. I love you. So much. And hey? Remember that time in freshman year? You were sure you were gonna flunk the algebra final but you didn't? Think of like that. Trust me.
He placed the phone back into it's correct place after sending the text. He despised the idea of other human beings holding Saturn against his will. Whatever was necessary to get him back would be completed by none other than Hunter. The Charger raced from the driveway and sped down the empty road. He was certain that there were provisions that could be utilized in finding a way to get Saturn back. That was when he realized...SCREECH! The Charger came to a stop in the middle of the street.
Also, do you know what they want and if they are willing to give me details? With this, he sped once again, heading to the home of a friend of his. -
Saturn's phone beeped a few more times and he frowned. He hated the idea of outing Hunter in danger. He didn't want to be saved, in a way. He didn't want Hunter to get hurt. He never had himself in his own mind, he only cared about Hunter. He sighed, waiting a few moments to respond. The depressed boy was no longer sleepy. He pressed himself against the white wall, texting back,
"I have no idea what they want.. I just know they'll want money.. They said they'll treat me well the first week, then feed me lesser and torture me more as the weeks go on until the fifth week. Then they'll kill me if they don't have ransom. Please, think of yourself. Don't get hurt." He sniffles, his eyes red and puffy with tears. He sunk down, trying to hide himself in his hair and clothes. The male next to him seemed caring and gave him a sympathetic look. -
The beep sounded again, but he refused to look until he pulled over on the side of the road once more. He read it over lovingly and sent the final message,
Money? Keep me updated on how much. Oh, it just looks like I'll just have to work fast.
With that, he tossed his phone into the back seat. From then on, he drove at a steady pace as to prevent getting pulled over when the situation was so dire. He cracked his neck, sniffled, coughed, and turned the radio on so that he could drown out everything for the time being. He flicked through the stations, stopping when he heard "Smells Like Teen Spirit" playing. Sighing, he cruised along the street, bobbing his head to the beat. In most serious situations, Hunter handled it better when under less pressure. That meant sending himself into a relaxed mood until more was needed of him. -
Saturn sighed, turning his phone off. He hid his head in his hands, making a small groan of complaint. His brown hair was ruffled up and his eyes were red from crying. His eyes watered from underneath his hands, trying not to let tears drop from his eyes. However, they did, and soon a river of hot tears flowed down his face quickly. Once he was crying, he was unable to stop. He began to think about the huge burden he was right now, and how useless he really was. Saturn deserved what was happening to him, from everything he had selfishly done. He remembered all of the stupid choices he had made, and how he was considered flawless by many. Saturn remembered how many people he manipulated, how many people he lied to. With thoughts of death in his head, his eyes squeezed shut and he fell sideways.

Hunter took a series of winding turns down various side streets, staring at house numbers with a watchful eye. The street name that he was taking was Willow Drive, and eventually, 765 appeared glowingly on a mailbox. There were no cars parked in the driveway, but he assumed that she would be home anyway. He left the Charger running, heading towards the door with fast feet. His hand raised up and knocked on the door when he finally made it. "Gio, open up!" This particular female was the best programmer, coder, and hacker that he knew. She was host to an extensive amount of knowledge about tracking and programs. Footsteps could be heard, and the door flung open. "Gio-" He was cut off by a deep male voice once the door was completely open. The male looked him up and down with a look of disgust. "Who the f--- are you, looking for my Gio?" Hunter opened his mouth to speak, but was turned down by a rough shove to the face by a calloused, rough hand. "I'm her friend, it's an emergency!" he pleaded. "Too f---ing bad, B. Get outta here. Gio don't need s--- on her mind." No amount of begging would make the man budge, and soon, the door was slammed in Hunter's face. He fumed silently, taking steps back to his vehicle.

Awe poor Hunter~)
Saturn found himself shaken awake by a large man. "Kid, food." He moaned In complaint. He looked down to a tray of food- pancakes and water. He gave the good a foul look. "Eat." He demanded. Fire started in Saturn's eyes.
"No." He said stubbornly. He put a hand through his brown hair, tired. He remembered the situation and his eyes continued to water. He patted himself down, his pupils shrinking.
"Where is my phone?" He demanded, his eye twitching a little.
"The man has it. Don't worry. Now eat."
"No." Once Saturn insisted on not eating, the man gave up and walked to the opisite side of the room. "Can I have a bed?" Saturn requested meekly.
"Maybe blankets and a pillow, but only if you eat." Saturn realized this man sounded like his mom bribing him as a child, that she would reward him if he ate. However, he bought into it, and inched to the tray. -
ikr he just cant win
When he was able to touch his car, he entered it with ease. The boy seemed okay until he raised his hand and gave a solid, forced punch to the passenger seat, a large moan of anger slipping from his lips. The one person he could ask for help was now turned unavailable. He needed to message Saturn again, pull more information. He reached for the iPhone 5S in the backseat, clicking it on and going into messaging. Satty, Gio, if you remember her, has this a--hole guy in her house and he won't let her talk. I think I have a few of her "Just In Case" booklets if you remember those. They should help in locating you. How much money are they looking for? He sent the message, pulling up a bit further down the road, spotting a small convenience store. He parked in the lot to wait. -
Like lort
Saturn sighed when he finished he food. Honestly, it tasted terrible. He wouldn't say that though, for a selfish fear of his own life that he would scold himself for later. "alright, let me go talk to the man." Then the man left the room, leaving Saturn lonely to his own emotions and thoughts. Then his phone was thrown at him from the gentleman, who gave him a bitter looks.
"Wha-"
"You have a message from your boy toy. And the boss said he will think about it." He said gruffly. Saturn was happy he had a message from his love~ and quietly read it over. He thought hard about what they said, and bit his lip. He looked up to the man and asked, "How much money do you guys want for my release?"
"I don't know. The boss likes to play with his subjects, but does love money. The boss likes to negotiate, I know that." Saturn nodded in response, and texted,
"I don't know how much they want. Apparently the boss wants to negotiate the price. Idk." -
lorty lort
also sorry for shortish response
As soon as he received the message, he shot back a response. Have him call me. Though he wasn't the best person to complete this long, drawn-out mission, he could try to get an asking price. The only worry he had was how much he would have to pay. His parents had money, yes, but they weren't filthy rich. If the amount was too large, he'd have to resort to other methods of obtaining the cash. -
Is okie
Happy Fourth of July :D
The other quickly responded an "Okay." Message and told the man in the room with him to get the boss to call Hunter. Then Saturn went back to moping in the corner, putting his face in his hands and ignoring the world. Saturn knew he shouldn't mope and be sorry for himself in a situation like this, but it helped him in an odd way. It kept him busy with his thoughts- and even though the thoughts were terrible, it made him feel safer and secure. Thinking of all the things they could do to him, relieved them that he hadn't. He was happy that he had a chance of getting out unharmed, as well. But the money thing bothered him. What if the money didn't get to them in time and he died? -
happily fourth
Once Hunter's eyes saw the "Okay", he turned his car off and headed into the convenience store. A small bell rang out when the door opened, and he was promptly greeted by an aging African American fellow with a wave and a kind smile. He waved back and stepped into the first aisle he saw -- hardware items. This was the reason Hunter adored stores such as this. They offered a wide variety of items for a reasonable cost rather than big market companies who assumed they could charge more. He assumed he'd be needing a few things when it came to rescuing Saturn, so he broswed as he waited for his phone to ring. -
Yusss how art thou?
Saturn was busy moping as the boss called his beloved. The boss, in a completely different room, had decided to obey the boys request and call him. Saturn, having his head in his hands, was thinking of how much of a burden he was when the guard said something to him.
"You won't do yourself a favor sitting being sad. You're only hurting yourself more, which hurts him." Saturn thought about these words to a moment, they had given him a revelation. He stood up, nodding, and pressed himself against the wall, proudly and confidently. Even though it was an act, Saturn hoped he could convince himself that he was confident and unafraid. -
purdy good, you?
Once Saturn's specialized ringtone sounded, signifying that the "boss" decided to call, he answered his phone. His feet aided him in drifting to one of the back aisles, where nobody else was located. In a low, hushed voice, he said, "Hello." Even just being on the phone with his boyfriend's kidnapper sent chills throughout Hunter's body. He knew that something horrible was going to happen at what seemed to be an innocent get-together. Being both angry at himself for not going and upset with Saturn for going, he was torn between whose fault this actually was. But then he sighed, remembering that things such as that never happened to put a blame onto anyone, they just happened. He silently cursed for being so rude.
