Clove was particularily cold that day. When she got nervous, she shut down. She was silen that day, doing small hums for answers. She was in her red car, which was a little too claustrophobic to her, with her earphones in. Clove made an effort to ignore her annoying, golden hair, eight year old brother yapping in her ear.
Jasper was "working" on getting ready, as in picking at his nails or playing video games on top of his blue, fluffy bed in his midnight blue room. The walls were skattered with posters of almost anything- athletes, school related stuff, video game related stuff, anything. -
If it were any other day, Jace would have been completely fine. His attitude would be much less aggravated and annoyed than that particular day. His body would not be pacing around as he awaited the limousine that was apparently driving to his home in order to take him far, far away, to Paulston's Private Academy For High School Students. His mind wandered with ignorant questions about how the school may turn out to be.
.,.,.,.,.,.
Spencer was as the driver sped down Cherry Road, his foot suffocating the gas pedal like a killer to a victim. His stomach churned with horrified excitement. The academy presented a plethora of intriguing capabilities and activities, yet the invitation was so sudden that he as unsure of how to think of it. Either way, he watched as his former home's environment passed him by. -
btw you don't need the limo that was just a choice i guess lol

Spencer was gawking

Clove thought about hitting the annoying eight year old, but she slouched, knowing her proper parents wouldn't approve. She, honestly, hated her life. She was always supposed to be something, when she just wanted to be herself.
Jasper heard his mother's rushed yells and flinched. He looked to his mirror to see himself in pajamas, and messed up hair. "Coming, mother!" He yelled, "Damn," He muttered. -
Jace watched as the dark, oblong car pulled right next to the curb, beckoning him, calling him closer. He inhaled, stepping into the back of the chunk of metal when the door was opened for him. The smell of new leather hit his nose.
Once the limosine made a few steep turns, the boy calmed, as the vehicle drastically slowed. He held the handle of his suitcase with an iron grip, his home slowly disappearing along with his memories and hopes of always staying with his friends. This opportunity was once in a lifetime, so why pass it up? -
Clove could faintly hear her parents yelling at her younger brother, turning the sound of her phone all the way up. She looked out the window, biting her lip at the scenery.
Jasper got dressed, and brushed his hair. He didn't look perfect, but it would have to do. He rushed downstairs, skipping steps. -
The male rolled his eyes once the driver began to go over the introduction of where he would be heading. In his lousy mood, he did not care for the rules and exasperating, repetitive speeches about how special the school was.
Spencer watched as the driver pulled into a gas station, nibbling the edge of his lips. Soon, hopefully, they would be at the location. Patience was not his virtue, and so he would be bored out of his mind. -
Clove just made small "hms" and "mhms" as her parents tried to interact with her. Once they realized they were failing, the car lulled into an awkward silence, besides the quiet hum of Clove's earbuds.
Jasper let his parents scold him, making that fake honest regretful face. "I'll drive you." His dad offered. Jasper bit his cheek and nodded, awkwardly. -
Once upon a midnight soccer game with a few friends, Jace's friend, Zachary, warned him that he better never ever leave, because he was too cool to go. He only wished that everyone thought that about him. He recalled this moment as the limo drove on through the morning light.
Spencer sighed as the gas attendant filled the tank and proceeded to take the driver's cash, running off with a grin. The driver took off, speeding like a jaguar after prey. Intimidating, that's what the man was. -
Clove yawned, beginning to feel tired. She had stayed up late last night, and now she had started to regret it. Her hands shifted in her lap, enjoying the loud music being pounded in her ears. It was the only thing keeping her awake.
Jasper sat in the passenger seat in the black mini van. Most likely, he was going to be quite late. He didn't mind, but his parents would. He watched the grassy scenery blow in the wind. -
Jace bit onto his tongue. It had taken him a plethora of years to even be capable of making even a few friends. He loved them, and he felt as though there would be no possible way that he could make any other friends. He was horrible, and his social status would be even lower in this new, private academy. Maybe his extraordinary goalie abilities would make him be at least a bit respected, but he did fear that he would be constantly ridiculed and humliated.
Spencer, believing that he should take a bit of a rest, drifted to sleep in the vehicle. The driver took a telling glance at the boy, a sneer plastered across his lips. The poor thing wasn't even aware of where he was going. He would last maybe a few months before he would be taken to the Expero-Center, where he would be stripped of the powers that he didn't even know he had. -
Clove began to wonder why she had stayed up too late. Half of the reason was because she couldn't sleep, but the other reason, she had no idea. That was slightly frigtening to Clove, but she kept those thoughts to herself.
Jasper waited for his dad to get into the drivers seat as he picked his nails a bit more. He bit his lips quickly, and looked up to see his dad walking around the vehicle to open the drivers seat door. -
He held back childish, selfish tears when he remaines pondering the facts of the matter. His head clouded over with a sudden sadness and irritability. His hands folded anxiously as he stared to the side. He didn't want to leave anymore, his body trembling over with extreme guilt.
Spencer rested dark and dreamlessly. His face was like that of a child as he remained in that state. Meanwhile, the driver was nearing the building in which Spencer would be residing in for the next few months.
