Haymitch knew what was coming, so he hugged Hunter tenderly beforehand. Hunter hated the fact that his dad had just left. Just like that.

Mandy laughs. "Okay, Hunter will like that you're feeling better, I'll be back later," Mandy says while leaving.

Hunter was bawling against Haymitch, everything being muffled. He kept his arms by his own sides, just saddened and afraid and all the scary stuff. -
The train is gonna crash isn't it? Your makin me pay because I ruined the moment!
Mandy walks into the room and stops when she sees hunter the way he is. She sighs and tries to put on a happy smile. "She's awake now," she says softly. -

but he's being taken by the capital instead for "misconduct with peacekeepers" oops
Haymitch looked to her, pointing to the chair because Hunter was being especially upset then. He probably wasn't going to listen, so Haymitch found it best to keep quiet as he comforted the boy. -
Damn the peacekeepers!!! DAMN THEM TO HE'LL!!
Mandy sighed, losing her smile as she sat down on the chair. Yet again she felt helpless. -

Hunter was soon quieted to small sobs by Haymitch's actions. He was a lot weaker than he used to be, that was for sure. He grabbed onto the pillow from before.
"Hunter, you've shed enough water to fill a swimming pool." This caused Hunter to laugh a tiny bit, -

"A swimming pool about te size of the hospital," Mandy added. -
I LOVE IT
Hunter laughed even more, harder than previously. It was an actual laugh, as well, not just one that he put on to hide his emotions. He found the comments amusing, and so he voiced it as such. -

Mandy couldn't help but laugh with him. She found his laughter contagious. -
IT MAKES ME LAUGH.
Hunter even made Haymitch chuckle, as well. It took him a while, but he simmered down. "Can we watch the news?" -

Mandy cleared her throat. "Sure," she says while changin the channel. -

It was covering a news story on the games. They were talking about strategies and everything about it. Hunter listened in. -
