Saphirre sighed and smiled softly. "You haven't done anything wrong Daniel. If it's any consolation you're the best person I know at relationships..." She tried to comfort him, although she wasn't really sure what to say. She knew he was wrong though.
-
He blushed lightly and shook his head. "I've had two girlfriends before you and sadly neither relationship didn't work out very well..." he sighed.
-
She blushed at his choice of words. Did that make her his girlfriend? She was a little afraid to ask, but nevertheless she hugged him softly. "The past doesn't matter, Daniel." She said softly.
-
He smiled a bit at her and hugged her back gently. "I guess..."
-
She sighed and nuzzled his neck again before leaning up to softly kiss his cheek. She pressed up against him. He still felt warm and safe to her and she loved the feeling of being in his arms.
-
He blushed deeply and kept his arms around her. He picked her up carefully and sat down on his bed. He smiled a bit. "You really like hugging me."
-
She smiled back and snuggled up to him. "You're warm, remember?" She closed her eyes and layed her head on his chest. "And I feel...protected when I'm close to you."
-
His blush darkened a bit and he chuckled lightly. "I forgot about that." He tilted his head and his blush started to go away slowly. "You feel protected...?"
-
She nodded. "Daniel, you're the only person I've ever met who hasn't tried to hurt me. You saved me from the lab, you saved me from those men on the streets. I owe you my life." She explained, opening her eyes to look up at him.
-
He scratched the back of his head. "I'm not that special of a person..." he glanced at her. "It's nothing, you don't have to owe me your life."
-
She cuddled up to him. "You're special to me." She said softly. "And think of what would've happened if you hadn't taken me back to the apartment that day." She shuddered. "That's not nothing."
-
He blushed lightly and smiled a bit. "Well that's true...I would have still made you come with me, even if I got shot." His hair covered his eyes a bit. "That's the kind of person I am..."
-
Saphirre smiled softly and brushed his hair out of his face. "And that's what I love about you." She frowned and sighed lightly. "Although I'd never forgive myself if you got shot."
-
He laughed lightly and shook his head. "I know you wouldn't, but I'd help you figure out it wasn't your fault." He smiled down at her.
-
She smiled back at him. "I'm just glad it didn't happen." She was comfortable being held by him, and she'd momentarily forgotten what they had started in the living room.
