"Yeah," he hummed, then laid down beside him with his arm draped over the boy. He kissed his cheek, then closed his own eyes. "Night."
Arcelio held onto Rayson's hand the whole way to the plane, nervously glancing at every TSA agent or police officer as if they may recognize him as the govenor's son. No such thing happened, though. -
"Night," He mumbled, finally drifting off.
It was a while before they were actually on the plane, but, once they were, Rayson was silent, twitching. He hated planes with a passion. -
Drake fell asleep soon after, close to Rosario's side.
Arcelio, sat next to the aisle and right beside Rayson, had his legs folded under him in his seat. He looked over at the other beside him, setting his chin on his shoulder. "How long is the flight?" -
Rosario woke a good two hours before the alarm clock was to go off, well aware that it would be cruel to wake Drake at this hour. That in mind, he was still unable to go back to sleep, so he laid there, pondering. He went back two years, remembering how Angel had been killed, and, short after Daniel had tried to kill himself. After Rayson and Arcelio left, his cousin had tried again a total of three times. He thought of his child, too, that Allen had only agreed to to give Daniel a reason to be happy.
"Too long," He muttered, putting his hands up to cover his face. He squirmed, whining at the idea of being on a plane. -
Drake was a heavier sleeper than Rosario, and even the alarm clock going off didn't always wake him up. So when Ro woke, a while before the alarm clock would ring, Drake didn't stir at all.
"Let's just sleep through it," Arcelio suggested, patting the other's thigh. "We'll wake up and it'll be done with." -
The longer Rosario thought about things like that, the more upset me became. So, in an attempt to drown it out, he closed his eyes again, snuggling into Drake's side.
"Haha, that'd be great. If I could sleep. It's worse that you're here, not I have to worry about you dying, too," He said, rolling his shoulders. -
Drake felt in his sleep, like some subconcious boyfriend-senser, that Rosario's pressing to his side was caused by something negative. His eyebrows furrowed, and he moved one of his legs around one of the younger's.
"Well, personally, I like being in your sight rather than thousands of miles away," he grumbled. -
(Gonna go. Night, Papa)
Rosario enjoyed the added warmth, slowly sinking back into a dreamless rest.
"It would be better if we weren't thousands of feet above the ground, though," He huffed as the plane began to move, inhaling sharply, moving to hold one of Drake's hands. -
(Night night, grandbaby)
Drake slept easier then, settled by the boy next to him seeming to have found his rest again.
Arcelio huffed, but held onto Rayson's hand tightly to try to help comfort him. He hadn't known that he was afraid of airplanes, but then, Rayson was pretty weird for a guy who used to work as an assassin. -
The alarm clock went off a little later, and Rosario sat up, gently shaking Drake awake. Or, rather, rolling on top of him and whining, nuzzling his hair like a very annoying cat.
*ARCELIO'S HANDS s---
Rayson fell silent after that, and, despite what he said, was asleep within the hour. It was a full six hour flight, and the plane was landing just as Rayson was waking up. -
Drake felt the odd weight on him in his sleep, and on top of that, the alarm clock was blaring in his ear. He woke at the nuzzling, eyes blinking slowly open. "Mm... What're you up to?"
Arcelio managed to stay awake for about two more hours, eating one of the slightly crappy meals offered before falling asleep with his head on Rayson's shoulder. -
"I'm getting you up," He explained, moving down to his neck, where he left a trail of small kisses. "And going to brush my teeth. Because ew, morning breath." He rolled off of him, grabbing the towel to wrap around his waist before shouting, "Bathroom!" And taking off. It was common practice in his house, where he battled Ellie and Elyan every morning for rights to take a piss.
Rayson didn't move, so that he wouldn't wake Arcelio, but he smiled, leaning down to kiss his hair, planning to get him up when the plane stopped. -
"M'kay," Drake murmured, his hand moving up to try to hold Rosario to him, but the boy slipped away before he could. He stayed in the bed for a few more minutes, before sleepily rolling out. He hadn't taken a shower the night before like Rosario had, so he felt rather sticky. But that'd have to wait until Ro was out of the bathroom. He pulled his blanket over his bare shoulders to cover his body, and shuffled down the hallway to the bathroom, knocking softly on the door. "Hey, boo, I've got to shower..."
Arcelio was a considerably lighter sleeper than most everyone else he knew, so the slightest touch of Rayson's lips to his head made him stir. This time, he didn't even have to open his eyes to remember that he was with Rayson. His hand searched for a contact point, and ended up on the other's knee. -
"Unlocked," He called, but it didn't sound right, as he was brushing teeth. Rosario was one of those who took a shower at night and in the morning, so he was probably going to take a shower with him.
The man smiled at the wondering hand, moving to take it in his own. "Hey. Morning, beauty," He said. -
"Kay," he hummed, opening the door and shutting behind him. He locked it, in case his dad would decide to be awkward again. He went up behind Rosario, the blanket still over his shoulders, and kissed the back of the boy's neck. "Are you going to join me?"
Arcelio mingle his fingers with Rayson's, yawning. "Good morning, babe."
