Arcelio paused for a second, then groaned, tossing the sheet off. "Then hand it up here, I'm not going down."
-
"No, you won't," Arcelio stated, staying where he was. "I'm hungry, so you hand me a plate with food on it, and I eat it up here. The end. Okay?"
-
"You know, my father's the governor. The worse you treat me the more trouble you're going to get in when the police find me. And I'm going to make it sound absolutely torturous if you don't hand me the pizza."
-
Who did this guy think he was? Everyone else Arcelio had ever encountered had catered to his every need. His parents and grandparents gave him what he wanted, bar tenders at the parties gave him alcohol despite his age, and everyone else avoided him. "Why can't I have it up here?"
-
Arcelio finally sat up, moving to the edge of the bunk and glaring at Rayson. He was to hungry to say no, being as he'd hardly eaten at the party. "You're an ass. I guess that comes with murdering people."
-
Arcelio opened up the box, picking up a slice. He would have eaten it if Rayson hadn't been staring at him. "What?"
-
Arcelio huffed, and started eating his own slice, glaring down at the box that was balanced in front of him.
-
"I'm perfectly fine, thank you, I'm not four." The medication was beginning to wear off a bit, and while he knew it would aid the return of his balance, his chest was already starting to ache more.
-
Arcelio managed to wheel himself over to the desk, and set the pizza box down there. Then he wheeled back to the bunk bed, glancing at the two bunks. He wanted to take a nap, but there was no way to get to the top bunk. So he climbed into the bottom one instead, burying himself back under the sheets and blanket and going to sleep.

Arcelio woke a few hours after Rayson's return, having to go to the bathroom. In a half-conscious half-asleep state, he slipped out of the bed, his foot landing on Rayson's shirt. He assumed it was just wet because he'd been sweating, so he grimaced, kicked the shirt away, and walked to the bathroom. Shutting the door behind himself, the boy went to the sink, yawning and (now very tired) simply sank to the floor and went back to sleep.
-
((That's alright~))
-
The bathroom was entirely dark, without any windows to let in natural light. When the door opened, light streamed in, and Arcelio groaned, turning his head away from the light. His back ached from having slept on the floor but he had no desire to get up and move.
-
Arcelio hardly noticed the pillow and blanket being added to his sleeping position, but subconsciously he did sense he was more comfortable. When he fillay started to awake about an hour later, he dragged himself into standing, holding the blanket around his shoulders and hugging the pillow to his chest while he walked out of the bathroom.
