Monty thought it over for a moment, sighing. Honestly, it would be hard to be around for Daniel when Monty had both work and school. But, Danny was a nice guy, and he wanted to help, and this Rayson guy seemed willing to help him out too. "Alright... I guess so, sure."
Drake sighed at Rosario's worry. "I don't hate you because it wasn't your fault. If you hadn't been drunk then you wouldn't have done it, right? And you're sorry, and you don't ever want it to happen again?" -
"Alright," He said, standing up, quickly taking out a card from his wallet. "This is for you. There's not a lot of money on there right now, but I'lk see to that later. Why don't you stop by the hotel at some point, take Danny and Michael to look at houses? Oh, and buy yourself some coffee," He added, before writting the hotel adress and the card number on a napkin.
"N-No. And no. But.. God, you're just so wonderful," Rosario sighed, and then actually started sobbing. "Y-You should h-have never s-stopped that day," He muttered, recalling the first time they had met. -
Monty stood up when Rayson did, taking the card and the napkin that he wrote on. "So, Daniel's okay with this? He likes me? I wasn't sure, since he hasn't called me back for a while now.."
Drake stood up, finally, when Rosario started sobbing. He brought the boy into his arms, hugging him and kissing his hair. "Of course I should've. Or else I wouldn't have met you, and you wouldn't of found your way home. That stop was a crucial point." -
"Oh, Danny adores you," He assured him, giving him a smile. "He's just been a bit down lately. He does that sometimes.. Don't let him stay in bed all day when he does that, alright? Give him chores, errands to run. Anyways. Bye," He said, starting to head for the door. He stopped, though, turning back. "One last thing. Are you a top or a bottom?"
Rosario shook his head, continuing to sob. He wrapped his fists in Drake's shirt for a moment before pushing him away. "Drake," He gasped, closing his eyes and taking a step back. "I-I- .. I can't. You're going to get yourself killed. Everyday you're around me is another day that Archer or-or someone could come and hurt you. And I.. I need you to be safe, so I.." He inhaled, shaking. "I'm breaking up with you. Leave me here. Go home. Dad'll get Avery. I'm sorry. I love you." With that, he turned, stuffing his hands into his pockets, refusing to look back as he started off towards the road. -
"Oh," Monty sighed, sounding a bit relieved. "I can do that, yeah," he agreed. He was just about to leave as well, until Rayson turned around and asked him.. Something embarrassing, to say the least. Monty had never had sex with a guy before- only when he was drunk in high school with girls at parties. But, if anything, he knew what kind of p--- he liked to watch. "U-uhm, is a slightly submissive top a thing?"
Drake's eyes widened, as he listened to Rosario. Two years togeher, he definitely couldn't let them break up like this. Clearly, they both still loved each other, so he went following right after the younger boy. "Ro, don't be like that. You don't really mean it." He rushed to step in front of him, walking backwards. "Let's just go home, and we can talk then. You can't just walk off in the middle of Texas." -
"Yeah.. Mm. I guess Archelio was right.. You'll be perfect for Danny," Rayson hummed, before leaving. He made a quick stop at the store to get what he needed, before heading back to the hotel. He knocked on their door, waiting.
"No. No," Rosario repeated, keeping his eyes on anything but Drake. "I know that you would do anything for me. I know that you would get yourself killed for me," He breathed, shaking his head. He knew that if he gave in, he'd never be able to do this again. "You'll get yourself killed trying to protect me. Please, Drake. Go home." -
Monty wasn't sure what that was supposed to mean, besides that Rayson had apparently been discussing the subject with Danny's other uncle. Shaking this off, he hurried out to find another cab and head back to the dorms.
Drake didn't move away from him at all, just tried to stay in his way and slow him down as much as possible. "I would do anything for you. I would die for you. But Ro, I'll die without you, I swear, I would sooner jump in front of a semi truck before I left you here." -
Raysom didn't have a key card, so he had to wait for Arcelio to unlock the door before he could go in.
"P-Please," Rosario begged, finally looking at him, stopping in his path. "I can't, Drake. I need you to stay away from me. Please," He asked again, inhaling, trying to keep himself from breaking. "You'll do anything for me? Then leave. And don't hurt yourself.. That's the only thing that'll keep you alive, and that's the only thing that'll make me happy. So please, Drake." -
(Pff forgot about Arcelio)
Arcelio had taken a minute to get the door, because he'd been trying to get Gus to lay down. When the baby finally let go of him, he set him down in the crib, and hurried to open the door for Rayson. "How'd it go?"
"Why would that make anything better?" Drake asked, failing to see why leaving Rosario here by himself should make him feel happy. He broke first, tears spilling from his eyes and a sob coming from his throat. He could remember the last time he'd cried, let alone in front of Rosario. "Don't you dare make me leave you here, that is the only thing I won't do for you." -
"Great, actually," He admitted, pressing a kiss to Arcelio's lips. He hummed a bit, setting the bags down. "He'll do it. I got everything you needed, by the way.. How's Danny?"
The boy in question was still in bed, though Michael was sitting up now, playing games on his phone.
"..I have to." With that, he shoved Drake aside, running past him. He jogged, even though he felt like curling into a ball to cry. He knew Drake would be better off without him, even if he didn't see it yet. -
"That's awesome!" Arcelio smiled, glad that Monty would be willing to help out. "Oh, he's... About the same, really. Michael's doing fine, too."
Drake didn't know if he should run after him, or if he should give up and go back to his bike by himself. Rosario honestly seemed to not want to go with him, though, so, he slowly turned around and went back to the Waffle House, hanging his head. When he got to his bike, he sat on it, but just kind of stared off into space, thinking. After a minute, he did the only thing he could think of- he called Ro's dad, who's number he still had saved on his phone. -
"Oh," Rayson sighed, and started to say something else when his cell went off. He took out the phone, answering. "Hello?"
Rosario kept running for a long while, until he stumbled into a small town. He sunk down into one of the allys, hiding behind a dumpster to cry. -
Arcelio eyed the phone, narrowing his eyes in question. In no more than a second, he could hear a panicked voice coming through.
"Mr. Carser? This is Drake. I know Ro is really mad at you, and I don't like you either, but I don't know what to do. We got kidnapped and they took Ro to this building in Texas and took me home, so I drove all the way to Texas to get him out and he's out and he got some girl pregnant but now he ran off and he dumped me and I don't know where he's gone." -
"..Okay. Okay. Drake, slow down and repeat that," He requested, putting the phone on speaker so that Arcelio could hear.
-
Drake took a big breath, and started all over again, from being kidnapped and ending at not knowing where Ro was. "I'm at a Waffle House right now. I need help to find Ro."
