(And then I left for a long time xD)
She had him fixed up in less than a minute, frowning at the long scar on his neck. "What happened here? It looks old.."
"..Arcelio, I need you to stay with Danny, okay? It'll take me like, a week to get Ro and come back." He paused though, and thought, closing his eyes. "Unless I pissed you off enough that you want to leave? What about Ellie? And Ro? And me? Baby, I really, really am sorry, okay?" -
(I was too don't worry~)
Drake followed her eyes to see what she meant, then pursed his lips. "I don't know. Some jerk with stupid hair did it to him," he stated, though he'd long ago learned the full story behind it.
"Danny doesn't really seem to want me here," he grumbled. He played with the baby's hands, and little Gus gooed at it. "Neither does Ro, and I hardly know Ellie. You seem to not really need me, since you've got a new f--- buddy." -
(dude I hung out with five boys all day, and we went into this store that had vibrating chairs, and I swear to god they were all like moaning and stuff and I had to leave because I was laughing so freaking hard and the store actually sold vibrators and I was like "wow okay")
"..Archer. Don't worry. I know.. Not really him. His older sister was my mom. Don't worry. He wont bother anyone at HQ," She reassured him, giving him a small smile. "I'm Rosalynn, by the way. But, just call me Rosa. I know Rosario, but, um, who're you?"
"But he needs you." Rayson sighed, pulling the car over, so that he could turn to look at Arcelio. "Rosario does need you. I need you, so much, baby. I made a really stupid choice, and I just.. I really do, baby, okay? I love you. I just.. Please?" -
(They went for the vibrating chairs instead of the vibrators smh)
Drake looked down at Rosario, who was still in his arms, doing a quick check to see if he was waking up yet. "I'm Drake," he said, looking up at Rosa. "I, uhm... I kind of got caught in this by accident, I guess."
Arcelio shifted, and turned to meet Rayson's eyes. He searched them, then sighed. "Do you still want to get married?" -
(well Keaton asked me if I wanted him to buy me one and I was like "no I'm good"
just tbh I was the youngest, they're all upper class men I was so awkward.)
"Don't worry. HQ is kinda a home to strays. It's really not that bad. I'll be back in a few." With that, she left, heading towards the back of the jet. Rosario stirred, sitting up a little, gasping in a bit of pain.
"Yes, more than anything, Arcelio." He sighed, closing his eyes. "I want my son back, and I want to get married, and get Gus legalized, and go live somewhere low-key and just.. Live." -
(Psh you should have said yes and watched the look on his face
No shaaame)
Drake only watched her walk away as long as Rosario was still unconcious, and as soon as he was starting to wake up again, he focused entirely on the younger. "Hey, Boo, be careful," he said, gently. "Does your head hurt?"
Arcelio sighed again, looking at his baby again. "Fine, I'll stay here, babe. Just... Promise, swear to god that you will never do that again?" -
"Yeah, a lot," He frowned, looking up at him, touching his finger tips to the bandage. "What happened?"
"I'm not stupid enough." He sat back in his seat, closing his eyes. "Alright. We're gonna go to the hotel, and I'll drop you, Ellie, and Gus off. And I'll give you my card. You know the number. I'll call you when I get into the states. Um.. Take care of Daniel. Allen's acting weird." -
"You hit your head, when the truck stopped," he explained, deciding he needed to take extra care to not jostle Rosario around to much- he may have a concussion. "Some girl came and got you patched up."
"I hope not." He murmured, poking Gus' belly. The baby gave a loud yell that bubbled towards the end into a laugh, the whole time grinning with no teeth, which made Arcelio smile despite himself. "Okay. Yeah, I know, and I don't like it one bit. He's being an a--hole, I can tell." -
"A girl?" He wrinkled his nose, snuggling into Drake's chest. He'd never been fond of other people touching him, certainly not people he didn't know.
"..He's adorable," He muttered, looking at Gus now. He reached over, stroking his cheek with a finger before sitting up. "Do you think he's hitting Danny? I don't think he's hurting Micheal, but I think he resents him. He didn't want a kid, you know." -
"Yeah, a girl," Drake chuckled, and moved to kiss Ro's head but had to stop himself. He was eternally grateful that at least he would never have to worry about being jealous of any girls. "And we will momentarily be riding a plane."
Gus gooed at Rayson, as if he was noticing the man sitting there for the first time. Arcelio had to hold his little hands to keep him from wiggling himself away. "I do. His neck's all bruised up. And he better not be hitting Michael, too. Even if he didn't want one he shouldn't be hitting Danny." -
Rosario frowned at that. He'd never been on a plane before, and he wasn't looking forward to it. However, the idea of having Drake with him made it a little better.
"Can I hold him?" He nodded, sighing. "Either way, you should talk to Danny. Not to Allen. I don't want him hitting you or anything." -
Drake didn't hear a response from Rosario, and took it that he was worried about getting up in the air. "It's okay, Boo. I'm going with you."
Now that Arcelio could tell that Rayson wasn't intending to hand him off to the next willing family, he nodded, and lifted the child up carefully to pass him off to Rayson. "Alright, I will." -
"..I've never been on a plane before," He admitted, and let out a little gasp, because, right then, the small aircraft began to move.
Rayson held the baby gingerly, propping his head on his shoulder, holding him up by wrapping the crook of his arm under the baby's bottom. He gave Arcelio a small smile. "I.. I think I wanna hold him for a while. Can you drive?" -
"Oh," Drake hummed, and then gave the younger's back a circular rub. "Don't worry. Planes are perfectly safe, people fly on them all the time."
Arcelio smiled back. "Yeah, let's switch," he agreed, and stepped out of his side of the car to walk around to the other side. -
"They also crash all the time, and people die all the time. We're not meant to be in the sky," He whined, pressing close to him.
Rayson used his free hand to open the car door, sliding out carefully. He bounced the baby a little as he walked to the other side, sitting down with him, closing the door.
