"Grrr I'm not lying you son of a pig!" She pulled out a small mirror she had and showed it near his face. "See?! You have black hair and eyes! You're not the king!" Her grey eyes looked angry as hell.
-
Zabel shook noticeably when he saw his reflection. He was at a loss for words, utterly shocked, and confusion was plain in his expression.
"W-wha-I don't-" He started, then his voice faded off as he collapsed on the door step, holding his head in his hands, eyes wide in despair. What was wrong with him? What had happened?! -
She blinked and got down to his level. "H-hey...don't keel over on my steps please..." She saw the confusion and despair on his face. She reached for his hand carefully. "Come i-inside please."
-
He let her take his hand. In another instance, he'd have slapped the hand away, but at the moment he was so out of it he just stood up slowly, and nodded, hair hiding his eyes.
-
She led him inside carefully and sat him down in a chair at the table in the kitchen. She sat down across from him and tried to think of something to say.
-
"....I am Zabel." He said, suddenly, fixing his obsidian eyes on her. "I have proof..." He muttered.
-
She blinked and sighed. "Then where is your proof, Zabel?"
-
He quickly unclasped the gold clasp on his cloak, laying it gently on the table. The royal insignia was in the center, and the gold clasp was engraved with the symbols of his parents, a wolf and a deer.
"This was my parents. It's the only one of it's kind. Only the King could have this, right?" -
She looked at it and sighed. "Yes but...you don't look like him. Your voice sounds like his but," she shook her head. "Everything else doesn't look like how our King looks like, I mean making us remember was a very stupid thing. You have blue eyes and blonde hair. You also have a slight tan but that's not you." She looked at him.
-
"But you do believe I'm him, right? I mean, who else could I be?" He sighed.
-
"I...I guess I believe you're him but...why are you here? You, I mean the other you...erg this is frustrating, you usually think commoners are trash." She placed her elbows on the table and rested her chin in her hands.
-
"Oh I do. You all are. But I can't get back home on my own, and you as one of my people are obligated to help me." He huffed, back to his stuck up self.
-
She glared at him. "get out. First off I'm not helping you, second I'd rather die."
-
"You have to help me though! I am your king!" He growled.
-
"Right now you're just a commoner and I'm the lady of this house. I say leave now before I scream." She had a very serious face. The window behind her showed a grey sky.
