WHAT BE THIS
Selene watched people from a distance as she hung upside down in a tree by her legs. She was swinging back and forth, having quite the time of her life. She knew she was acting like a small child would, but didn't really care. -
The wedding was supposed to be today, but where was her bride? She'd never met the other woman, unfortunately, but she would've at least liked to know that she was also getting ready for the ceremony this afternoon. For all Arabella knew, she could've been marrying the woman currently helping her put on the wedding dress. Remembering the woman assisting her brought her back into the real world, where the woman was telling her to turn around and make sure every part of the dress looked okay.
-
Selene checked her watch. "Oh, crap!" She was late to meet her dresser. Flipping backwards off of the branch, she ran off to her house, where her sister was waiting. "You arse! You've already forgotten that you're getting married, haven't you?" Her sister half teased, half hissed. "I haven't done any such thing. Anyways, I need to get the dress on. Would you kindly help me, dresser?" Selene's sister rolled her eyes as she lead her into a different room where the dress was waiting.
-
She knew that the wedding would be held in her own home, since it was much larger than her bride's. Or, at least, that's what she'd heard. She slowly turned in her dress as the woman inspected her. "Do you know if she's here yet?" The woman shook her head.
-
Her sister helped her get dressed in the dress. It took them about ten minutes, seeing as the back was a lace up that exposed most of her back and bra strap. "Oh.. I wish I hadn't been hanging around that tree for so long," Selene fretted. "I feel like she's waiting for me.. Whoever she is. I haven't even been told her name! It's so annoying, isn't it, sister? I mean, I'm marrying someone I don't know that I've never met." She was feeling very chatty.
-
"Do you know her name? No one's told me her name." The woman nodded, then thought about it for a moment.
"It's Selene, I believe." Arabella smiled a bit. It was a lovely name, and sounded nice with her surname added on. Selene Festin. Was she taking her bride's surname or was the bride taking hers? Maybe they would keep their own? She supposed they'd decide later on, when they actually knew each other. -
Once the dress was on, Selene bounded to the car. She didn't let her sisters say anything as she hopped into the driver's seat and turned on the car. She knew exactly how to get to her fiance's house.
While she was driving, the name Arabella came to mind. "Oh~! That's her name!" Selene said aloud. She happily snapped her fingers. "What a pretty name."
(Going to pass in for the night. See you, Selface.) -

"Can I leave now? To go wait for her?" Arabella asked. Before the woman could respond, she was on her way out of the room. She didn't know how they'd proceed in, but she guessed they would do so together. -
wait what i am no such thing
just realized
car
While she drove, she took the time to enjoy everything around her. Once or twice when a red light took too long, she'd imagine driving as a wolfy. Her child side burst out into giggles. "What an absurd thing, to even think of that.. Someone might notice." -
She hoped her bride was nice... she hoped the family was nice. She loitered around the courtyard and waited for her.
-
Selene finally made it to the right place. She parked the car on the side of the road, hopping out and locking the door. She scanned the area for someone until she spotted a girl in a pretty dress not too far from where Selene was standing. She figured that she was the one she was getting married to.

The courtyard would've been past the gates. You know what, I'm gonna do it. Rabelais lived in a motherf---ing mansion with a courtyard just behind the gates.
