Andrew nodded and bit his lip. "Well, see you, then..." As he walked away, he felt even worse. "Maybe I shouldn't have asked," he muttered under his breath. -

"What a wierdo!... but....nobody has asked me to the prom is, is that a sign? Megan pondered that thought then a few second later she shook the thought away. -

Andrew decided to pretend to go to his locker to buy some time so she could make up her mind. His heart pounding, he pretended to put some books inside. -
" Mm I don't know if I have the gutts to tell him no" Megan says to her friends. Putting in all of her courage she bravely walks over to Andrew. "Hey, can I talk to you"

Andrew got so happy he slammed his locker shut. He then realized it and a blush crept up his face. "Of course," he said.

" Good here's my chance." She told herself. "When you asked me would I go to the prom with you"? she slightly blushed I-I ca- can't im sorry she said looking down at her shoes

Andrew froze up for a second, then nodded. "O-oh," he said, disappointed. He quickly walked away, angry with himself for even asking.

Ughh! now I feel like the biggest jerk there is! She said I knew I should of kept him waiting.
As she walked into class she sat at the desk farthest from Andrew, Yet he ended up right beside her -
Andrew didn't even cast a glance at her. He was pretty mad, and he felt very, well, stupid at the time. He got out his school work. The prom was that night, too. He was going to go, anyway, to see which guy would take up the girl he liked.
