He shook his head. "No. Definitely not. You're lucky this galaxy has so much in common with your own. But scientists here would be interested in you..."

She turned and looked at him. "What do you mean? W-would the run tests on me o-or something?" She had an actual scared look on her face.

"They'd do what your people would do to me." After a few more turns, he slowed the vehicle and pulled into the driveway of a small house, only similar to the others around it in shape. His was painted dark green.

She lifted her legs up and hugged them. "I-I don't know what t-they would do t-to me then."

"Are you afraid or cold?" he asked. "We can go in now, if you'd like."

She sighed. "Just...afraid. Um...is it okay for me to walk there...?"

"If you can stand at this point, it is. I can help you if you need it." Orion got out of the car and walked over to her side.

She opened the door and stood up carefully. "I think...I can walk. "she was shaking a bit as she started to walk carefully, trying not to fall.

He reached forward, grabbing her waist in case she started to fall.

She blushed lightly and looked at him. "I think I can hold myself up.." She started to walk to the house's door.

"Alright." He shut the car door and followed behind her.

She got to the door and waited for him to get to the door.

He retrieved his keys and unlocked the door. When they were inside, he turned and looked at her. "Well, I don't have to go out for shipping food in for another two weeks, and since it's not the main breeding season, I don't have to do any volunteer work. What we do is up to you."

She walked in and looked around the inside of the house. "breeding...?" She turned and looked at him, her brown hair getting into her face.

"Well, what would you call it?" he asked. "There's a time each year when births peak, and some of the offspring aren't wanted by their biological parents. A lot of us volunteer to foster the offspring until a permanent family is found for them or until they're no longer depended. Humans have something like that, I believe."
