(Cool.)
The squad crossed the road, heavy rain pouring on their armor, bouncing off as they ran forward to The Base. Nearing the huge metal walls, the captain shouted at the 'gate-keepers', and as such the latter heaved against a long lever on top of the wall, directly above the heavy-duty gate.
~~~~
Luke gripped his knife like a boxer gripping his own fists, and literally jumped on an infected, plummeting it to the ground with a loud thud. With-out pause or a second thought, he thrusted his arm forward, successfully grinding it-self a lodge in the infected's skull and grimy brain. He grabbed the knife with both hands and forced it out, causing Luke to fall backwards. Rolling over and quickly getting to his feet, and aimed to slay another infected.
~~~~
Hershel just milkin' cows.

Maggie walked several meters across the healthy green grass away from the pens. There was an obvious loose gait to her walk, as if she wasn't tense at all. Nearing a large sack of chicken feed (I forgot what chickens eat. o.O), she picked one of the non-descript yellow bags and heaved it against her chest, obvoiously it weighed many pounds. "Take this, the chickens be HUNGRY" -
(XD Them chickens be hungry.)
Lilly started galloping through the woods. Mostly trying not to run in to the dead and trying to find Luke's group faster. She put the phone in her back pocket and looked ahead. She was tired,groggy and starving. But food was least of her worries.
Jake pushed a dead away from him and kicked it. This made him in a terrible mood. He gave Luke a smiled and drove his knife in the crawling after him zombie. His knife was oozing something gross and he wasn't about to know what.
Beth took the bag away from Maggie and started humming a sweet tune. Her whitish eyes glowed and she sprinted to the barn. The bag was heavy but she rested it on her shoulder to help the weight. -
(Gtg be on later.)
-
(What if we invited another person o.O)
The squad slowed to a quick jog, one of the soldiers still hefting the body-bag over his shoulder. They walked through the middle road of The Base, which was oddly colored, in random specks, blue and red. Multiple civilians looked at them curiously, but eventually dismissed their presence as they walked beyond the housing district, further into the heart of the area.
~~~~
Luke kicked a shambler's foot from under it, causing it to face-plant on-to the ground. He took advantage of his leverage and knelt, letting the weight of his upper body fall into his knife, which dug deep into the infected's skull. Standing back up, he eyed a rather fast-running infected not too far off. Luckily they had cleared most of the zombies by now.
~~~~
Hershel had finished the milking, by now heading towards a heated furnace located out-side to pasteurize the milk (have no idea how that works so aaaaaye).
~~~~
Maggie lifted another hefty bag of chicken feed and heaved it against her chest, poking her head slightly to the right so she could see past the bag. She spied on Beth from behind, curious as to why she was already lightly jogging to the barn. "Why'r you headn' over there?
~~~~
Alexis continued to spy from her binoculars like a hawk observing its prey from far away. As she turned her head, she could see most of the area was empty, save for the obvious live-stock. Focusing back to the middle, she noticed the two women were gone. They didn't look like the bad type, but she wasn't sure she wanted to take a chance regardless.

Jackson carried the doe over his shoulder with a thick leather harness that he held by hand, walking towards the farm to store it in their meat lockers. Hearing a loud crunch, he dropped the doe, spun around and whipped a pistol from his hip-holster. "Germ, you dirty mutt, you scared me!" He joked, chuckling lightly. He embraced he husky dog with a warm hug. -
(Gonna make a sheet of the current characters soon so I can memorize, I'm gonna include yours too, ok)
-
(Oh dang, just seen that note. Ok...)
-
(I'm back.)
-
(I don't know.)
Lilly started getting slower. She was tired and she couldn't last much longer. Like every person who was about to fall over and pass out she climbed a tree. Her eyes fell shut and she drifted off fast.
Jake pulled out the rifle. He pointed it straight out like handing a paper in, but he wasn't he was aiming. His eyes stared at the fast one. "Best aim." He dared and breathed. His body was already feeling better from the sleep.
Beth turned around. "Huh?....Oh I'm just checking on the barn." She spat out and almost dropped the bag, but didn't. He hair locks fell in her face some. -
(I feel like we should, but I also feel like we shouldn't. XD)
The squad continued down the road, which seemed to have raised platforms that stepped up from the one before it every few steps or so. Eventually they finally reached their destination. The captain was formally greeted by one of the dozens of militant guards surrounding a large building that seemed oddly Roman. The large, 12-foot metallic doors opened to reveal a relatively clean hall that stretched a long way from them. They pressed on.
~~~~
Luke looked over his shoulder, over at Jake. The child pulled out a black rifle, about the size of Luke's fore-arm. He recognized it as the rifle he gave Jake before they escaped the hospital's under-ground... Place. "Aim well." He whispered as he kicked another runner in the chest, knocking him over. Luke picked his leg up, falling forward and lodging his knife right in the infected's nose. "I think that's it." He thought out loud, wiping off the grimy yellow-red blood off his blade.
~~~~
Hershel did what-ever farmers do to pasteurize their milk. ._.
~~~~
Maggie squinted her eyes slightly, then realized that what-ever Beth was going to do, it'd be innocent. "Just stay safe, okay?" Maggie rolled her shoulders and heaved the yellow bag of feed and continued towards the large chicken coup, left of their house.
~~~~
Alexis lowered her binoculars. She wasn't sure if she should make her presence known, or slip away. She wasn't too sure she could safely slip away since multiple people were out in the open and her Jeep makes a reasonable amount of noise. She sighed and shot up at the sound of guttural groans and quick snaps of twigs. (Should Alexis join or nah? I'm at a cross-over here.)
~~~~
Jackson cherished his loyal dog for a short while, then patted his head and said "We're headin' home.". His canine companion sparked up, standing on his hind legs and putting his front paws on Jackson's thigh, stretched, then began to walk a bit faster. -
(Bump)
-
Lilly is asleep
Jake shot and looked at look. The bullet hit it in the cheek. "Yeah. Think so." He whispered and turned to the car. " Maybe we should hurry. I feel weird." He complained. He did feel tired but nothing really. He just was ready to calm down.
Beth gave Maggie a look. "I'll be fine." She smiled and continued her way. -
(Sorry I'm sooooo busy.)
-
(It ok. Oh, and can you set the stats for your characters in my character listing?)
(And oh fk! I just realized I could've introduced Rick at the hospital! Oh well. Since Jefferey gave Lilly the coordinates to the hospital, perhaps you could? Or nah, Idc.)
The squad walked down the long hall, paying little attention to any-thing but their destination.
~~~~
Luke turned on his heels and stared in awe at Jake's fantastic shot. With a slow yet loud clap, he complemented Jake "Nice, bro.". Sheathing his knife, he could tell that was the rest of them -- for now at-least. "Let's get up the tree-house." He gave a running start to the huge trunk of the tree that gave way to the tree-house, to get there first. "I'll beat'cha!" He teased.
~~~~
Hershel waited by the furnace, waiting for it to finish the pasteurization process. He twiddled with his thumbs slightly, and continued humming his favorite tune.
~~~~
Maggie stopped at the large chicken coup which was, as mentioned, large and red. She heaved the bag of feeding pellets on-to her shoulder and walked with her usual loose gait to a column of descending half-cut wooden tubes which served as the feeding medium for the chickens. "Dangit... Should'a asked her to help me with th' eggs." Maggie cleared her throat and lowered the bag of feed, ripping the top of it.
~~~~
Alexis spun around, eyeing a rather nimble shambler. She looked around, circling her head to take in her entire environment, and assessed that the shambler must be the only one. She fondled the top of her back. Pulling out a machete, it felt surprisingly heavy. So heavy, she had to wield it with both hands like a Claymore. She lifted the sword to above her head and used all her force to swing it down. The force was so much that the infected was cut down all the way to it's waist.
~~~~
(Should Alexis join the Greene family or nah?)
(Did I already ask you this? XD) -
(Sorry about them short post. I was at a friends house.
Yes I'll jump on that.
The Rick thing? It doesn't matter.
How's your day?
Yes. It'll be a cute thing to do, since everyone in the Greene family is calm and nice.)
Lilly is asleep, so screw dat chick~~~
(I find these two adorable together.)
Jake took a deep breathe. "Thank you." He stated, smiling. He watched the dead bodies lay on the ground. But by the time he started day dreaming Luke shouted at him and ran to the brown tree trunk. "As if!" Jake snorted and ran giggling. He pressed his fingers against the tree, starting to climb. He shuffled the rifle in the bag on his way up.
Beth ran to the barn, as fast as her feet would go. She smiled to herself and pushed the strong wooden doors open. Her hands closed the door and she spun around to look at the horses. But that wasn't really the reason she was here, even tho she enjoys them. Her real reason was to get on the roof to look at the woods better. Even tho her father didn't believe there could be survivors she did. -
