Jeff could barely catch up. The fact he hadn't slept in some time combined with the blood loss and heavy sorrow weighing upon his mind, he could barely walk. No less run. Trying his best how-ever, he began to lightly jog to Lily, slowly disappearing in a thick forestry of bushes and mighty trees much like the pictures on Google. Taking a careless step, he tripped over a wire of tough 'wooden barbed wire', as he called it. He fell down with a thud and loud whimper, as he tried to brace his fall but only hurt his shoulder. He hoped his ankle wasn't twisted.

Luke nearly skipped to Jake, euphoric of his refinding. He looked to his left and right in a happy-go-lucky manner, looking over the curved walls that seemed to dispense them into the parking lot. Bumping into a car, he fell over and onto the ground. He was a bit careless. Brushing off his shoulders, he sat back up and picked his bag up to heave it across his shoulder. Looking back down at Jake, he wondered and asked "What's wrong?". He playfully and lightly punched him across the shoulder, standing ready to pay attention. -

Lilly turn to him and cringed. She crouched over to touch his ankle and shoulder. "I need to look at them but I need meds." She said looking at him with gentle eyes. She wasn't going to force him to go on if he could barely move. "You'll be okay." She said hoping to calm him and herself.
Jake's wondered look went away and before he knew it he was on the ground from laughter. He giggled to his stomach felt weepy and he had tears in his eyes. He gave up on trying to look serious because every time he did he cracked up harder than last time. He really hoped nobody could hear him but he couldn't help it. -
Jeff looked up at Lilly. His eyes were shut, but small whispers and loud panting were evident that he wasn't just alive, he was still conscious. He tried to pick his head up, but the muscles in his neck were utterly exhausted. He heard small twigs crunch in the distance, not close but not far away. "Stay quiet." He told Lilly in such a hushed tone even he could barely hear it.

A small squadron of soldiers with light Kevlar and advanced weaponry with blue shields painted across their white attire walked begrudgingly into the woods. One of the shoulders had two plate pauldrons vs the ordinary one pauldrons and her helmet seemed to have an ear-piece sprouting from the left side. She stood at the front of the squad, eyeing the woods with aided vision.

Luke was surprised when he seen Jake fall to the ground. At first he thought he was shot, but upon realizing he heard no bullets or firing, he realized he was only, literally, rolling on the floor laughing. He joined with him, grasping his knees and laughing hard. He didn't know why but he was. -
Lilly looked down at him. She wasn't for sure if she even heard him. She wanted to ask, but the twig snap in the distance told her she was correct. She had to think of a plan, but she was totally clueless. So she sat down, quietly next to him and nodded. The air was getting colder each hour which was bad. She put her hand on his arm, getting ready for if she had to jerk him up and bolt. Her eyes tried looking in the tree clearings to look but it wasn't working.
Jake enjoyed these moments. He wiped his eyes from the tears and tried finishing his giggles. He was happy to have a fun person, it really took some much of the stress off it wasn't funny. He dusted his self off and grinned at Luke. He looked up at the hospital Windows to check if they were being watched. His smile grow bigger once he stood up. He didn't even understand what it fact was so funny, but whatever it was he was happy. -
Jeff laid down with Lilly, almost deathly still, eyes peeled to make sure he didn't become so drowsy and fall asleep. He could tell that, despite the uncomfortable bedding of twigs and fallen branches, that he could and would fall sleep any minute now, now matter how much he resisted the urge. He picked his head up slightly and looked directly south of him, onto the road which was obscured by several meters of moderately dense forestry.

The captain walked along with her squad-mates who all seemed to be similarly dressed. They all kept quiet and slowly trekked into the light wall of shrubs and heaving trees, hands gripping their weapons tightly.
~~~~
Luke finished laughing and wiped the broad smile off his face, still leaving a wall smirk behind. He looked behind him-self, and got curious. With-out explanation, he left Jake and began to walk towards the compartment of which they left. Exiting the park-way he sat down, leaned towards the door and shoved it open. He entered, leaving the door to swing, and let down his bag and began shuffling through it for grenades.
Alexis carefully stepped over the bear traps, and continued towards the gate. She eyed it's hinges to make sure it didn't have ANY cables. Observing every creek, she nodded and slowly opened the tall metal gate. She took small, crouched steps and eyed her surroundings. -
Lilly gave a concerned stare before hearing the footsteps disturbed the quiet leaves. She prayed they wouldn't get closer. "We should leave." She choked silently. Her heart started beating faster and faster. Other than hearing people or the dead in the distance the woods were actually very gorgeous. The shifting patterns of light,ivy,ferns and moss were very calming. Lilly tapped his arm, making sure he was still awake.
Jake rubbed his eyes. He was turning restless and it felt terrible. He was curious by Luke's actions but didn't really question. He grabbed his bag off the ground and started looking at all the weapons in it. He was still trying to stay alert but after laughing like that it wasn't worth it. He looked over at Luke and started walking over there. His shoes were stomping the ground with his bag and rifle trailing behind him. -
(Bump. So you'll see.)
(Sowwy. 3:) )
Jeff jerked his head up slightly, acknowledging Lilly. "Perhaps... If we don't, they'll... Ow... They'll find... Us. But, but if we do... They might hear... Ooooww... They might hear us." Jeff lightly told Lilly, eyes still nearly closed and laying upon a thick bed of entangled moss and vines. He felt a small drip on his nose. Then his left eye. Then his leg. 'Its raining...' He thought. For some reason he was glad about that.
~~~~
Luke pulled out 5 grenades coupled in his cuddled hands. He quickly shoved open the lid, feeling a tight and short-lived wave of fear come over him. He wasn't too sure if zombie claws or human guns would be pointing at him once he opened it. He rolled the grenades down and slid the man-hole cover back in place, then began shuffling through his bag looking for a few extra grenades like a woman looking through her purse for her wallet.
~~~~
The squad continued forward, and began to hurry their paces. They stuck in a group and small whispers could be heard from them if one was close enough. They kept their backs arched and walked with short but quick strides, tying to make as little noise as possible. In the heavy greenery of a thick forest, how-ever, this is impossible. One of them tripped over a damp, hollowed-out tree trunk and another had entangled his feet in a thick net of vines and moss.
~~~~
Alexis began to second-guess her opportunity. Sure, she could go in guns-blazing through a huge field in broad day-light, but that didn't seem too good-an option. Slowly stepping back, she head towards the jeep to re-think her plan. -
Lilly looked up at the sky. She gasped at the rain, but hearing the sound of a human falling forced her attention back to alert. "If we stay, then we prepare." She held the gun and layed on her back to hide ground level. She didn't know what to do but forcing him to walk wasn't something she was about to do. She felt lost and weak.
Jake shifted from foot to foot. He was trying to keep moving to stay awake. His bag dangled behind him and his eyes stiffened at the windows. He took out a knife... His knife and brushed it off. He loved holding it. -
Jeff stayed deathly still, and it seemed as though it was going to begin pouring so enough. He crossed his weak fingers hoping that wouldn't happen. Another thing he hoped for was that he didn't pass out, as the embrace of sleep was certainly a comforting one.
~~~~
The captain spoke in-to her ear-piece. "Split up, but go no further than 10 meters away from one another. If you hear a scream, regroup. Simple enough?" She whispered. Her fellow Abiders nodded their heads and began to split. One was nearing Lilly and Jefferey with an SMG, while another crouched directly north-east f the duo. It was sure the one headed towards them would be alerted, but it's unsure whether the other will.
~~~~
Luke placed a small group of explosive grenades at each corner of the compartment (one at each corner), and swung open the door. Ripping the trigger from one of them, he threw it over his shoulder and continued to sprint away, left hand securing his bag. "WATCH OUT!!!"Luke hysterically shouted as he jumped for Jake and the compartment erupted in a fiery explosion.
