Here in a world much like the one of out reality, the only real difference is everyone are pokemon gijinkas. No, you do not have powers. Only ones that reached the higher levels of meditations and tapped in to their minds are able to use their hidden powers, young one. Mostly monks and people of the Buddhist and Hindu religion can do so. Here, the legendary pokemon that represent the Buddhist religion are Zekrom and Reshiram, the ying, and the yang. Such pokemon as the legendary bird, represent the latter. This is based around the Buddhist religion though.
The plot of the story is, a girl comes to visit the temple, one that teaches this religion and revolved around training and such. Master Kobutsu, head of the temple. Master has sensed the girl is in danger and sends his apprentice to protect her. What lies ahead of them? The darkness. Can the monk get accustomed to city life? Probably not.
((Now then, it's going to start off with the girl going to visit the temple and such, then it all goes on from there.

Additional info:
Does not hypnotize people.
Has a soft spot for children
Rarely smiles
Has great balancing skills and light steps.
A bit of a pacifist, but again, only uses violence when necessary.
Does horse back trick riding
Meditates most of the time and doesn't like being interrupted
All of the non physical attacks he uses, are shot through his pendulum

It was a bright day sunny day. Also, a busy day at the temple. It was one of the few days people from the outside were allowed to visit the temple. Some areas were restricted, and we were not allowed to show our special attacks. A monk was sat near the door, his legs were crossed and he held prayer beads in his hand. He greeted anyone that was entering and gave then one I these necklaces. The monks inside were either training or showing the guest around.

Name: Brynn
Pokemon Representation: Manectric
Gender: Female
Age: 22
Appearance: Short, bleach blonde hair/white tank with blue pants idk and idc/brown eyes/pale skin/a few electric yellow/blue bracelets on her left wrist
Occupation: Employed at a small but successful bookstore
Height: 5'8
Personality:
Pessimistic - Tends to see the glass half empty, generally doubtful of things, not really open for new experiences, a bit depressing
Is willing for the most part to communicate with strangers, as long as she'll never see them again, but tends to be more introverted around people in her life due to fear of messing up and knowing they'll remember
Other: "city kid," with Sangye for some reason/thinks all of the monk stuff is BS
She'd just arrived at the temple, one amongst the small crowd visiting on that day. She couldn't remember why she was here, but she didn't really care. It definitely was beautiful, despite the other people. She guessed that it was much nicer when there weren't noisy visitors. Brynn climbed the steps to the temple and walked inside. -
The old monk by the door greeted the girl. He was sitted on a something that looked like a pillar and throne pillow. He was up to her height when he sat down on it. His arm outstretched the give the girl the prayer bead necklace. "Here you are, ma'am. Don't want to bring any bad spirits in to the temple, now do we?" He joked through a rasped voice.
The inside of the temple was absolutely gorgeous, just like the outside. The inside was a dark red, with hints of gold in the designs on the wall. A few statues were inside that matched the out. They were of Zekrom and reshiram, curved out of jade stone, and many vases as such that had dipictions of ying and yang. -
"Uh, no, we don't." She took the necklace and looked at it for a little while, then, not wanting to really appear too rude, put it on. If most of the monks would act like that, she already regretted visiting the temple. She wandered through the ancient building, the only visitor to come alone, and the only visitor that seemed conscious of the sound she created in the place.
-
Off in the restricted area, A blonde hair monk was in an outside room. He sat there on a rock concentrating. His legs were crossed and his thumbs touched his index do finger as he meditated. An older man who had a bulky tail and spoons around his waist watched the man. The Alakazam was Master Kobutsu. He stroked his beard and observed the hypno's pendulum. It waved side to side as the man meditated, a pink aura glowed around it. The blonde haired man started to levitate, while in the same posture. Kobutsu had a very pleased look on his face.
-
She wondered if the visitors were allowed to look around outside. She figured most of these people wouldn't want to go outside when they could be viewing the temple instead, and it would probably be much quieter. She left, thanking the monk at the door, and headed off unnoticed into nature.
-
The master stood back and continued to observe his apprentice. Much progress was being made and the master was definitely proud. The Hypno raised a few more inches from the rock and not just his pendulum glowed. His forehead started to glow the pink color as well. When that happened, a few nearby objects Kobutsu had laid out started to levitate. This was much progress from the last few sessions they had.
-
After walking for a while, she found herself in the middle of a clearing, surrounded by trees. The distracting temple visitors had been replaced by the babble of a river somewhere in the distance. At the edge of the clearing, there was a boulder, so she climbed it and relaxed, staring up at the sky. It was never this quiet at home.
-
"Yes, good!" Kobutsu exclaimed quietly in excitement. It glowed brightly, it can be seen from almost a mile away. A few monks at the temple saw it and bowed in its direction. A few visitors saw it as well and thought nothing of it. The objects levitated around and swirled in circles in the air. One of the objects floated away somewhere.
((Omg hurry up and see what's going on Brynn dang)) -
After a while she grew bored of the silence and headed back to the temple. Some of the visitors had left, making it relatively quieter than earlier. She realized there wasn't a part of the temple she'd seen, and, despite the lack of visitors near the door, she saw nothing suggesting that it was off limits. She walked over and stepped inside, shocked at what she saw. A man, probably a few years older than she was, floating.
-
Kobutsu continued to quietly cheer on his apprentice. The monk heard footsteps, he turned his head and was in shock to find the woman there. "You! This area is restricted!" He shouted. The Hypno opened his eyes which were glowing as well. The aura started to dim and he slowly lost the levitation. He fell back down a foot on to the rock and looked down. He felt exhausted. The object fell down with a mighty thump and his pendulum stopped swinging.
-
"I'm sorry, I didn't see a sign. I'll leave now. That was cool, by the way." She left and returned to the main part of the temple.
-
Kobutsu rang a bell. With that signal all of the doors and windows all shut. The master followed the girl, he was accompanied by two other monks. "You..." He said when he saw her in his sight. "You are not going to leave so easily." His voice was mainly calmed but had an assertive tone in it.
-
"Look, I'm sorry I interrupted your session or whatever, but it wasn't on purpose and I should probably just leave so I don't do it again on accident." She reached up and wrapped her left hand around one of the straps on the backpack she was wearing
which I forgot to mention oops.
