The crowds thinned as they moved through the city. By the time they reached her apartment, the streets were almost empty. She headed into the lobby and took the elevator upstairs.
-
Sangye looked at everything Ina confused way. An elavator?... Why would anyone make a dangerous and lazy way to move up. He definitely prefers stairs.
-
She waited for him to get into the elevator. "If you'd rather take the stairs, I'll meet you on the seventh floor."
-
"Alright." And with that being said he walked to the stair case and continued up the stairs. Like hell he was going to ride in that thing.
-
She sighed. "Whatever," she murmured under her breath.
-
Sangye silently walked up the stairs. He would stop sometimes to look out the windows and see the bright shining city. One time he swore he saw a face in the window but ignored it, thinking he was just imagining it from all the culture shock.
-
The doors opened and she stepped out, then, after looking around for him, walked over and waited at the stairs.
-
He came up a few minutes after she started waiting. "Sorry. I was distracted by the outside."
-
"It's fine, but the view's better from the apartments than the stairs." She walked down the hall, pulled her keys from her backpack, and unlocked the door.
-
"Oh. Okay." He followed her a bit more til they were infront of a door. It was the door to her home he was sure.
-
She welcomed him inside and flipped on the lights. There was a short entryway before the apartment broke off into a small kitchen and dining room, and the living room. There were two bedrooms that broke off of the living room, and a bathroom between them. The apartment was mostly decorated in bright blues and white, reflecting the electric type which the two roommates shared. Brynn noted that her roommate's door was open, but that she wasn't anywhere in the apartment.
"I don't know where Lex is, but you might have to sleep in my room tonight. You know, so she doesn't come home and find a stranger in her apartment. Are you okay with a sleeping bag, just for tonight?" she asked. -
"I understand. A sleeping bag would be fine." He looked at the apartment. The decorations were fantastic and definitely something the Hypno likes.
-
"Great." She headed to her room, the door to the right of the bathroom, found hers in her closet, and set it on her bed. Then she came back out into the living room. "I'm kind of hungry, are you?"
-
Sangye hasn't been paying attention to his stomach. After being asked that question he noticed he was. "Yes, I am."
-
"Are you, uh, allergic to anything, vegan, vegetarian..." She guessed the last was probably true, monks did that, right? She looked around, figuring out what to make while she waited for his response.
