"I'm doing that again. It takes a lot of energy, so it's a good thing I'm doing it at night." She then pressed her hand against the base of the cicle, walked from one side of the circle to the other, and pressed her hand down again. "There. Portals. If you leave, I have to temporarily deactivate it to let you in, but now, if something tries to come at us, it'll come out on the other side of the circle." She yawned.

He nodded. "Interesting." He smiled at her. "That was a smart idea."

"Well I'm a smart girl," she yawned, and settled at the base of the tree. She looked up at him. "Should I try to make some blankets appear or something like that?"

"I think that it would be smart if you did."

She tried her hardest, and a blanket slowly materialized. "I can't make another one, but this one's big enough if you're okay with sharing."

"I'm fine with that. Just hope you don't hog the whole thing." He joked.

She grinned. "I'll try not to."

He chuckled lightly and sat down under the tree. "Odd, I don't usually make a joke."

She lifted the blanket, inviting him in. "I'm either a really bad or really good influence, then."

He scooted over and got under the blanket. "hm...I think both really." He laughed lightly.

She yawned again. It was warmer with him, and more comfortable.

"Geez you are tired." He poked her cheek.

She wrinkled up her nose in slight irritation at the poke, then relaxed and snuggled a bit closer to him. After a few minutes, she was partially asleep.

He blinked lightly and sighed. Soon he started to fall asleep also.

Her sleep was dreamless. She didn't wake up once that night.
