I decide to step out of the shadows and stand off to the side, clapping. "Well done, I guess you're the better person. I'd have let that snake take her head off." I say, then turn to the other girl "You're lucky."

The other girl looked like she was going to be scarred for life. Maybe Halyn did take it a bit far, but what was done was done. The other girl turned and ran. Halyn glanced at the guy that had just emerged from the shadows.
"Spirits are not weapons of war. They are only used for defence. I couldn't allow The Snakw Bearer to behead her, she had legally done nothing wrong." Halyn glared at the man. How could he even think of killing her without a second thought? -
"I find legalities to be a pain. I used to respect them, but after the Last Shadows gang killed the love of my life, I ignored the law. I took this vary sword and used my powers to tear my own kind apart. I'm the last person that can bend all darkness to my will." I said. "What are you glaring at me for?"

"Nothing you should be concerned about, considering your previous statement." Halyn turned. "Now if you don't mind I'll be taking my leave. It's damaging to speak to a man who has no trouble killing one of his own kind. Regardless of the situation." -
I was pissed now. I teleported in front of her before she could walk away.
"One?! That entire gang hates me and my family so they ripped her heart out and mailed it to me! They shot my parents! I killed most of them! You tell me that that wasn't just." I finished glaring.
(good night, I won't be on tomorrow night.) -
"None of this is my problem." Halyn glared back at him. "It's not my problem so don't bother talking about it to me. I still find it regretful that someone would kill another without a second thought, especially when they share the same blood. Now if you'll kindly move out of the way, I have to be going."

"You think I killed them without a scond thought? I though long and hard about it. I've helped this city, after killing so many, the murder, robbery, and rape rates dropped. Some are alive, but I kill them when I can. They weren't human anymore any way, they had been... consumed. The darkness was too much, they couldn't control it so it controled them. I'm always in control... no matter what I do, it's always my decision." I made a chair and sat down. Then looked at Halyn waiting for a response. "I killed them with regret, but I'm starting to lose the regret and feel accomplishe with it."

Halyn looked at him. "No matter what they've done, killing without the government allowing it is a crime. So should you really be telling this to someone who you have just met? It would be easy to turn you in. Almost as easy as turning in other criminals." Halyn stepped around him. "Now as I've said before, I must be going." -
I let her leave this time. "You can't turn me in, for there is too much darkness in jail."
I walk down the side walk pondering many thoughts, but suddenly one enters my mind and doesn't want to leave./Who do you love, that needs protecting?/
"No one." I stopped then realized, revenge would solve nothing. I had killed for those I've lost, but isn't doing any good. I've lost the just in fighting, and I realized that I truely have lost everything. -
(FYI, let others know if you want a love interest between characters. Hopefully, many people will join this.)
