Ok. Once upon a time... About today...
(Your character) was living his life, paying bills, doing his job, kissing his wife, etc.. He was a reporter for a very famous news seller, and he was reviewing a very 'special' case. The new serial killer in town. It kills people and supposedly 'wakes them up'. He thinks it's just some ritualistic prophecy bull, but when the killer turns his eye to (your character), thing go hay-wire.
(Your character)'s life is literally being warped, and they begin to think their comatose, they can move things telepathically, and reality becomes their play-thing. But then the serial killer shows his face, and sets upon annihilation of (your character). Will they survive, or will they 'wake up'? -
That sound good? You have realistic powers in the plot, but you also have to deal with people thinking you're dellusional, seeing hallucinations, and black outs.
