"Fox belongs to the forest. He's my friend, though, if that's what you mean." Whyte blinked.

Lilian pulled out a few sugar cubes and fed it to the impatient mare. "You two.." She laughed at the horse for her whiskers tickled her hand before the mare pushed the girls back and sent her closer to the tree Whyte was in.

Fox climbed back into the tree, barking at Whyte.
Whyte blinked, looking from Fox to Lillian. -
Lilian gave a shy smile suddenly aware of how horrible she must have looked. Looking away she turned back to her mare. "I.. I can leave." She said simply even when she didn't want too.

"Why?" Whyte blinked, tilting his head. "You can leave if you want, or you can stay."

"I don't know. You seem like you like to be alone at times." She shrugged and sat down next to the creek. She let her hands dance across the cold water that had a light lair of ice over it.

"Do I? I guess I'm just used to being alone." He shrugged.

Lilian fell silent as she gently pressed her hand on the ice and cracks slid across the ice. "Hm."

Whyte took a deep breath, letting it out slowly.
"What's the kingdom like?" He asked, voice almost a whisper. -
Lilian had good hearing and heard him. "What's it like? It's not bad. Everyone is living with the cold right now as best as they can. My Father says the Queen seems sad now a days." She shrugged pressing more, cracking it more. "More young men are turning into knights, some fear war. I don't think there will be war." Shrugs. "There's also a ball coming up so young lady's can meet men." Frowns. "I don't want to go."

Whyte listened intently, eyes sad at mention of the Queen. He pushed it back, and said quickly "Why don't you want to go? Sounds fun!"

Lilian made a face once more. "Because all of them are block heads who care nothing about anything except to please the King and won't let me have my freedom..." She drifted off.

Whyte thought about it for a second, then opened his mouth to say something. He hesitated though, and closed his mouth.
"Hm..." -
She caught it. "What?" Lilian tilted her head back to look up at him, her hair cascading down her back. The sunlight hit her and made her hair and eyes shine.

"It's been a long time since I left the forest....I wondered if....um...maybe...I could..."He stuttered. "Go with you?"
