Ness continued to fumble as Zelda walked past him, leaving him alone in the training room. He felt his legs buckle beneath him and he fell against the wall and sat still for a minute. His breaths came out heavy as his nerves realigned themselves; until his growling stomach snapped him to attention.
Standing back up, Ness made his way to the meeting hall. He hoped Lucas had saved him a seat; there was a lot they needed to talk about. He had only heard a little about Lucas' adventure, but it sounded absolutely incredible at the moment, and he couldn't wait to hear more. Lucas seemed the same way towards his story too, so at least they would be good friends.
(Implying you've ever touched a real fighting game though.) -
Sorry Luna, I don't know a lot of Sony characters...)
Samus sat with her arm resting on her cannon. To eat would require removing her helmet, so she would eat later. Or skip dinner. She wasn't that hungry. She watched as Bowser arrived, digging into a large steak. Marth and Ike arrived shortly after, and the rest of the brawlers filed in for dinner. -
(I've touched real fighting games. >:(
I have Injustice: Gods Among Us (which is awesome. Zatanna is fun to fight with), SSBB, and Playstation Battle Royale (Kat and Dusty are also awesome). Those are the "fighting" games I play. I play other games with fighting, but I don't think they're considered "fighting" games.) -

IHLAOY Newbie(I would enjoy Playstation Royale a lot more if it had some of the more memorable Sony characters in it. Where's Spyro? Where's Crash Bandicoot? Why can I play as the killzone and not classic Dante?)
"Ness! Hey Ness, over here!" a voice shouted, and Ness turned quickly. A blonde haired kid was standing on his seat and waving at him from over the crowd. Lucas. Just who Ness was looking for. Bumping his way through the crowd of fighters, Ness arrived at his table, strangely ensigned with a large earth on it, and took a seat.
"Lucas! There you are. Man, we need to be careful around here, you won't believe what happened to me a few minutes ago. I think I became a man."
"That's fine, I become one when my girlfriend became a stripper."
Ness was silent for a moment. "I don't think you've told me that part of the story yet. Or that you have a girlfriend. Aren't you like...nine?"
Lucas laughed, "Well, it's not offical, but one day soon I'm going to ask her."
"I feel the same about Paula." Ness added, before motioning at the kitchen, "What's for lunch? Pizza? Burgers?"
Lucas looked at Ness weirdly, "What's a pizza?"
"Oh boy, you have a lot to learn, my friend."
(Now, I'm just putting this out here, have either of you actually played Mother 3?) -
Nope. :P I'd never heard of the games until SSB.)
Pikachu smiled playfully watching the two boys. Samus sat stiffly, avoiding the eyes of the others. Luckily most seemed happy to ignore her. -

IHLAOY Newbie(Man, you are missing out then. Earthbound is 10/10, and Mother 3 goes beyond that. Dat atmosphere, dat symbolism, dose final bosses; brings a tear to my eye.)
"So anyway, what did you want to show me?" Ness asked, lifting a steaming hot slice of pizza up to his mouth. Frankly, he was amazed there was anything left after that pink blob turned into a vacuum. Thank god for PK sleep.
Lucas however, had decided on a simple salad instead, "It's the tier list."
"The what list?"
"The tier list. You know, the rankings; who's the best, who we gotta beat."
Ness nodded, "Oh right...cool cool, where am I?"
"D rank, with F being the lowest."
Ness looked down sadly, before perking back up, "Alright, where are you?"
"E. Bordering on F."
"Ouch."
Lucas waved his hand dismissively, "It's fine, I'll work my way up, it's fine. I'm just glad to be here, the competition was tough."
The two ate silently for a while, before Ness spoke up again. "Who's at the top? One of these tough as nails looking guys, right? Is it the giant turtle? It's the giant turtle isn't it?"
"No...no it's not Bowser. It's...well. Those guys." Lucas said, pointing across the room.
Ness followed his gaze, eventually coming to rest on the two most lovable, least dangerous looking people in the room. They were barely kids, covered in thick jackets and lugging around two huge hammers. The ice climbers.
"You're kidding me." -
Cool, I'll have to play them sometime. And lol the ice climbers?)
Link finished his meal and stood up. He shot Zelda a smile before going up to his room. He needed to check all of his equipment before the tournament. His boomerang, bombs, sheild, and most importantly his sword.
Seeing that Pikachu was done with its meal, Samus rose from the table. Pikachu jumped down and followed her up to their room. Pikachu was too small to need a room of its own, so Samus let it stay with her. She deactivated her suit and sat down on the bed, absentmindedly stroking the little yellow pokemon's back. -
I KNEW you guys were gonna claim Pikachu! Hey, could I be Sonic?)
This rp looks like a lot of fun. What's going on so far??) -
Nothing really. All the fighters are staying at the Smash Mansion, with weekly tournaments. Samus is in her room (only Pikachu and Ness know what's behind the suit so far. Pikachu's seen Zero Suit Samus, and Ness knows she's a girl.) with Pikachu, Link and Peach are in the meeting hall/dining room. I'm Samus, Pikachu, and Link, Luna is Zelda/Sheik and Peach, and IHLAOY is Ness and Lucas. )

Peach stood up and walked towards her room. She waved at Mario, Luigi and Yoshi on the way. She opened her door and entered her room, closing the door behind her. She sat on her bed, thinking about the tournament tomorrow.
Zelda lied on the bed in her room. Tomorrow was the tournament. She had to be ready. That meant that she needed a good night's rest.
