This plot I just came up with... Tell me if you like it! :)
On the world of Revilon, dragons roam free. They are the protectors of the humans. But every 50 years, the dragons choose a young child to become their apprentice or adopted child. These children gain the ability to turn half dragon (wings, tail, etc.) or into a dragon. They also gain magic powers. But when the dragon, Blackwell the Sinister emerges from the underworld, the Dragon Apprentices have to do something about it. Will they succeed?

Powers/Weapons: A rapier (fencing sword) that can be infused with lightning and thunder, can create storms, thunder and lightning
Other: Was chosen to be an Apprentice when she was a newborn, was struck by lightning the day she was chosen to be an Apprentice
