The swrl slipped under the door and tilted slightly.

She looked over at the window. "Oh look, it's snowing."

the swirl dashed over to the window in excitement. it indeed was snowing, big clumps of it. The swirl let out a small burst of wind as a sigh.

"Do you leave the castle?" she asked it.

It shook a bit to say no. I'm more of a...maid. I love the snow though. Master Blackwater usually makes it snow so some of us can have fun.

"Should I talk to him?" she asked. "He'll probably send me away if I tell him... and I don't want to leave in this weather."

It tilted a bit. Tell him what? I don't think he would send you away.

"It's... a long story." Jessa sighed.

It looked like it gave her a look that it was willing to listen. Well...you have all night. And I think master is asleep.

"How bad do you think it'd have to be for him to kick me out?" she asked.

It thought for a moment and shrugged. I don't know really. Depends on the master.

She rolled over, looking at the wisp. "Do you want to know?" Her expression was dead.

It's not my opinion to be nosy, yet I've always been interested why you are here.

"I'm a skilled assassin sent by a sorceress to eliminate competition." She said it in a matter-of-fact way, and rolled back onto her back. "I can't."

It tilted and moved closer to the bed. Getting attached to the master? Or is it something else?
