Nora took a second to get used to the wings in her back. Then she flew upwards and back beside the helicopter. "I don't see any-" she paused when she noticed a flash of red in a cloud. "Kador. Up there," she pointed to where she saw the flash of red. Nora converted her pistols into a rifle and shots a couple of times in the general area of where she saw it. A black and red aircraft floated down into view. A Kador.

Karrie steeled herself, gripping the handle of her knife do tightly her knuckles turned white.
Like followed Nora's lead, shooting his blaster at the ship twice. -
Nora tried to recall what she learned about Kadors. "We have to find its core! Then destroy it." Nora turned her rifle back into pistols now that the alien was in view. She shot as fast as her fingers could pull the triggers. The Kador shot a red beam of light at Nora. It was coming to fast to dodge. If you could dodge it, then that must've been taught during training. The training that they skipped. Nora held her hands out as if that would protect her. Then she heard a robotic voice say: "Barrier." Nora opened her eyes to see an electric sheild in front of her. "Deployed," she heard the voice say again. Nora looked down. As she heard the voice, the star on her weapon glowed. The weapon has a mind of its own, Nora thought in awe.
(This was inspired by a few of my favourite shows. :D)
