I entered the store, and all eyes were on me. A few little kids pointed. It was very embarrassing, so I fled to the area of the shop where nobody went: the Barbie doll aisle. There, I bunched up my long, lean tail and stuffed it into my skirt. Then I took off my sweater and tied it around my face like a mask. -
Matt tried the best he could to hide his tail. His ears were small enough to be covered by his hair. He walked into the center of town and went to the store first, to get some food.

Avia: I walk into target, to buy some cheap new shoes. Everyone stared. Of course.
When people got too curious and asked questions, I just told them I was part of a new tv show coming out soon. Others can hide their ears and tails, but my black feathered wings were huge, there was no way to hide them. I was walking through the toy aisles to get to shoes when I saw two people. One stuffing her tail into her skirt, the other watching. His hands were shoved in the pockets of his huge coat, but I thought I saw the tips of some wings poking out of the fabric. I approached them slowly. "So let me guess... Some type of cat and some type of bird?" I smirked curiously.
Uriah: a few men come towards me in ratty clothes. Their hands are hidden behind their backs. I peer over their heads and see... guns. Oh, joy. Looks like a shooting was going to happen. I wasn't surprised, stuff like this was common in New York. I wasn't very worried either, they would never come towards me. Right?
Guess not. They were coming towards me. Before I could run one had grabbed me by the collar and the other was pulling out his gun. I had to think fast. I bit the man holding me with my sharp wolf fangs, drawing blood. He let go and screamed "f---! What are you??" I ignored him and continued to run, hiding in an alley behind target. -
Matt ame out of the super-market and heard some ruckus. He walked towards it cautiously.

Thera walked into the store with Tristan. There's tail moved a bit. She quickly held her hands behind her back. She glanced at Tristan. He was lucky he only had ears. Tails were hard to hide. They walked through the grocery aisles, picking out things for dinner. She turned to Tristan. "It's our cousin's birthday next week, right? Lets go get something for her now."
Tristan shrugged. "Like what?" He asked. Thera started walking towards an aisle. The Barbie aisle. Tristan frowned. "A barbie?" Thera nodded, "she's only 6 and she still loves them." Tristan sighed. "You go in the aisle, I'll stay here." Thera grinned, "What? To cool to be in the Barbie aisle?" She laughed and walked into the aisle. Tristan frowned, Thera took almost every chance to bug him. What a cliche sister. Then he heard Thera say, "Um, hi." Tristan looked in the aisle to see a girl with large wings, and a girl with a sweater on her face. -
Erica: I whipped around to see the girl and boy watching me. Embarrassed, I stuttered, "Oh! Uh... hello... there..."
This was not going well. I blushed like crazy, but even the sweater tied around my face could not hide my emotions. -
(Got thera and erica confused. Change "some type of cat" to "some type of rodent")
Avia: I hid a smile as the girl looked really freaked out and blushed. I turned to the guy but he was staring at us both like we were crazy. I realized what I had originally thought were "wings" were actually stupid shoulder pads. s---... he's not one of us.... I thought. Suddenly I heard an "um.. hi."
I turned to see a girl with a cat tail and a guy with small ears and what really did look like small wings poking out. "Hi...." I muttered awkwardly shifting trying to cover my wings knowing it was pointless.
Uriah: they followed me into the alley and ran towards me with the guns again and I jumped through a window into the barbie aisle and landed on top of a girl with a long tail. I tried to stand up, blushing really hard but they shot at me through the window and I yelled "DUCK!" And landed on the girl again. -
"Ugh," Thera got up and dusted off her tail. "What..." She glanced down at the guy who fell on her. Then she looked at the window. "People jumping through windows. I see."
Tristan almost ran over to Thera, but stopped himself. "You ok?" He asked. Thera nodded. Tristan sighed, then looked at the guy that jumped through the window. "Why were you jumping through a window?" Tristan asked, calmly. -
Avia: I rolled my eyes. "That's just Uriah. He's my brother," I gave an exaggerated facepalm and sighed. "What did you do this time, Uriah?"
Uriah: I gave a goofy grin, "oh, y'know, just running away from muggers!" I then raised an eyebrow at my sister, "barbies?" I held one up that said "fun time rodio barbie: comes with pink horse!" and dropped it into her lap. I swiveled my focus to the other girl. "Heheh, sorry...." -

Thera smiled and lightly shook her head. "No, it's ok." She glanced at Tristan. He had an uneasy look on his face. Thera had an idea. She leaned over to Tristan. "It's okay, Brave Knight. You can stop guarding me." Thera smiled teasingly.
Tristan's face turned a dark shade of pink. "W-what?! I wasn't... Thera!" Thera laughed. Tristan glared at her then looked at the ground. "I'm the Cheetah Girl's brother." When he said 'Cheetah Girl', it was Thera's turn to glare. Then Thera looked at the other two. "I'm Thera. This is Batboy Tristan, my little Knight." Tristan scowled. "Thera," he hissed quietly.
