I let it all go. Soon all the flames died out, leaving me panting

She sat in a small corner, hugging her knees tightly to her chest, her eyes were closed as she breathed heavily.

I went out after regaining all control, on my way to wake the kid. On the way, I found her in a corner. "Hey kid, something wrong?"

She glanced up, and willed herself to stop freaking out over it, she nodded her head and quickly stood up, "No, n-no, nothing wrong. Nothing wrong at all".

"You saw me. I can see it in your eyes. You're afraid of becoming like me. Look kid, I only have so much excess power because Satan is my old man. You, you're not his daughter so you won't have to let your fire out now and then. Plus, you don't have black flames, so you don't have to worry."

She nodded her head and sighed, "Okay..I'm just being silly anyway, I shouldn't let these things scare me".

"You get nightmares about it, right? Well, remember when I said you should use your fire in different ways? Well, in the dream, if you're confident and you believe you can control it, you can."

"I can use my fire in a dream?".

"Yea. Remember, fire is life, death, and everything in between."

"Okay", she frowned lightly, "Were you in pain? I heard the screams".

"Yes- but no- but yes. It's complicated. Letting my fire out helped release some of the pain I have inside, but getting it out hurts."

She frowned more but stayed silent, pretending it made sense. "Umm...shall I make breakfast?".

"You can if you want to. I honestly don't care since I don't eat."

"Oh..alright", she said walking past him, and through the hallway on the left.

(Sorry, chores then I wanted to try and read Tarot cards. It's harder than it looks XP)
I shrugged. "Just be quick. You've got training."
