Magic World is something my friends and I created 6 years ago. We don't play it anymore, so I thought that I would bring its fun to GTQ.
Magic World is a roleplay/soap where you make a character that has a form of magic. Whether you have powers over the elements or enchanted blades, you will be accepted into the rp.
What we did was we would have stories or "episodes" (because sometimes we pretended it was a show. Long story.) that revolved around someone's single character.
There are usually lots of fighting moments but the person controlling the episode can decide whether they want a lot of fighting or not.
The characters are the best part of this. You can create your own species and looks and powers. The only rules with the characters are that they can't be more powerful then everyone else. If they are, then the character can't use super powerful magic all the time, or put limitations on it.

IHLAOY NewbieName: Meepo, the Geomancer.
Age: 12, but middle aged for his race.
Species: Kobold
Powers: Meepo has two clones of himself that can act independently of one another. Each one is aware of what the others are seeing and doing. On top of this, Meepo has the ability to teleport short distances to one of his clones.
Looks: Small, with mouse-like ears on the top of his head. Has a wheat stalk in his mouth.
Wears: A shroud over his head, but not his face. A backpack strapped over his back, filled with oddities and valuables. Carries a large shovel in his right hand.
Strengths and Weaknesses: Meepo is good at digging, starting fights and seems to have an innate strength against magic. On the other hand, he hates scorpions, cave-ins and, hypocritically, thieves.
Other: Probably unimportant, but if one of Meepo's clones are killed, all of them, including Meepo himself, dies too. -

Age: Has been alive since the Ice-Age, but looks 16
Species: Immortal humanoid
Powers: Has power over ice and snow. Can create it, sculpt it, and control it. She can also freeze water. Can change what age she looks. Comes back to life eventually if killed (immortal).
Looks: Pale skin, icy blue eyes, wavy light blonde hair that goes down to mid back, moderate height, slim
Wears: light blue shoulderless long sleeved shirt, white knee length skirt, dark blue knee high heeled boots
Strengths and Weaknesses: Is stronger in cold climates, weaker in warmer climates, ice and snow created by her can't be melted by natural causes, but magic can melt it
Other: Is one of Mother Nature's children, Eleanor represents the season of Winter, has a sister who represents Summer, a brother who represents Fall and another sister who represents Spring, lives in the South Pole, has a device that allows her to change her clothes to other clothes that she already owns -
(By "comes back to life eventually" I mean she gets resurrected in the South Pole in a good hundred years)

Powers: can read minds and cause damage on others without touching them
Looks: Black hair, elbow length, has light grey eyes, and freckles sprinkled across the bridge of her nose and cheeks. She usually wears dark colors.
Strengths: negative energy/moods & chaos.
Weaknesses: happiness and love. Love really grosses her and make her weak; personality wise.
Other: I don't have anything. :I -

Eleanor sat on a bench in a park, reading. It was summertime, so it was uncomfortable for her but she tried to ignore it. It didn't help much that she was wearing a long sleeved shirt. Years ago, she had figured out the hard way that wearing it was strange when a kid said to his mother (pretty loudly, actually), "why is that girl wearing a long sleeve? Weirdo!" Then his mother hurried him away. Eleanor rolled her eyes. She wasn't like them. She had seen many different fashions from different civilizations. If they though her outfit was strange, look what you had to wear hundreds of years ago. -
(If one of you wanna make the first story then you can. If you guys don't wanna make the first story though, I could. It's your choice...)
