"Oh my fudgen god" I say as I jumped up and saw that boy from English up there on the tree I smiled up at him and waved at him to come down he was going to pay as soon as he got down.

I let out a laugh- a real one. I hadn't done that in a while. Snickers at school here and there, but never really laughing. And then this girl comes along and she makes me laugh just by looking at me. Weird. I grabbed a thick branch and swung myself down, landing on my feet in front of her. I leaned in close, and it was hard not to notice the little green flecks in her eyes. "Did I scare you?" I whisper, and for a split second I want to kiss her, but I push the urge aside and lean back, grinning.

After a swallow to collect myself, I step to the side, swooping around behind her. I wrap my arms around her waist and whisper into her ear, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to." I grin again, lettin my arms fall to my sides. "Am I scaring you now?" -
"No actually"I say and dump the bottle water I had behind my back on his head "Surprise,this was for throwing that apple at me"I say grinning

I let out a small gasp as the chilled water splashes my face. I instantly jump back and shake my head, droplets spraying from my now-soaked hair. "Alright, alright." I say, laughing slightly. "Message received; you're not an apple person."

I let out a small giggle. I just noticed this is the first time I have ever giggled like a girl. "You got that right"

I let out another real laugh and smile at her, genuinely smiled. Glancing impishly at the lake, I spoke again in an innocent voice. "How do you feel about swimming?"

"Its fun and I wouldnt mind swimming at this very moment" I say smiling back.

"Good." I say, jumping forward. I connect with her waist, tackling us both into the lake. For a moment time seems to slow down, and I'm stunned by her beauty. The way her long hair fans out in the water, how her pale skin seems to glow under the soft rolling waves.

I laugh,and then I start to swim underwater I then grab him by his legs,and pull him underwater.

I take a breth right before she pulls me under, and spin around, dragging her underneath me. I hope she can hold her breath, but if not, I guess I can play the hero.

I continue to hold my breath and I grab him by his neck underwater.

Years of training means I can hold my breath for an insanely long amount of time, but Alyssa can't. I'm tempted to wait and see how long she can last, so I swim down a tiny bit farther.
