I did it becuase my dad was a well known pure vamp that lead a group. They thought since he wasn't a hybrid, his children would be pure as well. Well, we aren't because my mom was a demon. With my dad known as a vampire, I lied to them that my whole family was like him so they wouldn't kill the rest of us because we were part demon.
