Rose102 NoviceSophia walked into her first period class. Math. Oh how she loved math. She scanned the room for her friends Emily and Caitlin. Finding them at last, she rushed over to them. "Hey guys! Whats-" All of a sudden she looked over to the guy sitting a couple desks over. He was definitely someone she had never seen before. Okay, that was true for the majority of people in the school, but still. She nudged Emily. "Who's he?"

Emily laughed. "Oh, shouldn't talk to him, really. He moved in during the summer, lives a few blocks away from you I think. But there's something about him that's just....off...." she said.
Chase put his hood over his head and closed his eyes, trying to block out the noise of the classroom. -
Rose102 NoviceSophia glanced at him again. "What are you talking about? Look, I'm going to go talk to him. I'll bet you 5 dollars that there is nothing wrong with him." Sophia got up and walked over to Chase. Seeing his hood pulled over his head, she quickly yanked it back, not really thinking if it would bother him or not. "Hey! I'm Sophia. Um, and you are?"

Chase looked up at her and put his arms up as if to say *What the f--- was that for?!* (Like Jack xD) "Me? I'm going back to bed." He said, putting his hood back on as he put his head back on the desk.

Rose102 NoviceSophia frowned. "Excuse me for trying to talk." She considered going back to her friends, but to be honest she didn't have 5 dollars to give Emily, and she kind of wanted to stay.

He glanced back up at her. "Well, I wouldn't call that talking. That was more like overly-excited screaming." He muttered.

Rose102 Novice"Screaming? I am not screaming!" Sophia screamed. (Jk XD) "Oh and by the way, there's this new invention called a bed. You should try it some time." All of a sudden the door open and in walked Ms.Marks, the math teacher. "Everyone SIT DOWN" She croaked, glaring at Sophia. With one last glare at Chase, she returned to her seat. "Our first activity will begin with you and a partner completing this worksheet. I will list partners now. Emily and Caitlin, Sophia and Chase..."

He gave her a fake *sarcastic* smile and and got a pencil out. Math, easy.
