... This is when I blatantly copy ideas from my old RPs.
At an average, but private, high school, there is a not-so-average girl. Sure, she's smart, she's funny, she's kind, but she can also perform magic. The magic can be good or bad, but she prefers to only use it for good. Almost everyone knows about her abilities, and those who don't still know that she's special. She's used her abilities to help others around her for longer than she can remember. She's not afraid of others knowing, and she definitely wouldn't hesitate to help another person.
All of this changes, though, with the arrival of a new student. He's what schools hate: a trouble student. This private school he's been sent to because of his parents' hopes of him getting his act together seems horrible to him, until he sees the girl. The attraction between them is instant. But he doesn't know about her abilities, and she'd like to keep it that way. She thinks that if he knows, he'll think she's a freak. So she hides it from him, all the while performing tiny miracles for him without him knowing.
I'd rather be the girl. No, I will be the girl. -

But seriously, it's peoples own opinions, not just yours IHLAOY. So shut the hell up or you'll have a goddamn sock down your throat. -
IHLAOY NewbieNoooo, technically it's a roleplay. You guys just segregated the two for no apparent reason and then act like there's a difference between the two, which is frankly quite stupid, as it allows for a decrease in quality whilst still claiming to stick to a roleplay's original values.
And I'm allowed to have an opinion to look down on their opinion. And the jokes on you, I already have a sock down my throat! -
If you look at the term roleplay, it's a compound word built of role and play. Playing a role can refer to many things, from Name: RPs to coauthored stories to theatrical performances. This is a roleplay, because the partisans are playing roles.
