"A little dose once a week. About.. Teaspoon? Slip it into their drinks. You can't smell it." Rubs her face with two hands. "It's getting dark. You better head home kid."
-
"I'll be back," he said, before going back home, following her instructions and slipping some in the milk.
-
She plopped down on the couch and pulled her favorite blanket around her, a soft dark blue one. Even though she no longer felt cold it was nice to feel it's comforting softness. She opened a book and started to read.
-
Ben rode his bike back, parking it by the Mustang. "Okay, that's done. You said something about training," he raised his eyebrows, "when do we begin?"
-
She looked up and pointed to her book shelves. "Get the brown and black leather one. Read it." She commanded before going back to he own book propped in her lap.
-
Ben nodded obediently, found it, and cracked the book. "What's it on?"
-
"Vampires. Werewolves. How to kill us, what hurts us, and this." Holds up her hand, the silver ring on her finger. A dark blue stone was the center and it matched her eyes. "A witch made this for me. Keeps me from burning in the sun."
-
Ben nodded, found a chair and sat down, absorbing every word.
-
She looked up and watched him. The way his eyes scanned and took each word into his head. Or the slight stumble that was starting to grow on his cheeks and chin. She smiled slightly before looking back down at her book but unable to read.
-
"Do you have any fruit?" he asked randomly, "I work better if I'm eating."
-
Chuckles "Kitchen." She couldn't help but smell him, after shave and oak? Hm. She ignore it but was thinking to much to read.
-
Ben nodded, and came back with an apple, which he ate quietly as he read.
-
Soon she got up and walked away. She headed to the basement and opens a freezer. Blood packets were stacked inside. Grabbing one she ate it and threw it away on her way back to the living room.
-
He didn't look up, reading intently.
-
She started to make a game as she grew bored. Finding a notebook she began to tear small shreds from it and making tiny white paper balls. From there she would throw them at him eaither hiring or missing her target.
