"I love you." She said but her voice sounded strained and sore.

He looked weird at her, and it only fed his instict to kill Marcus.

"Let's just go." She whispered quietly and looked away.

He nodded, and led her out the same way they came in, but faster.

Once on the street she relaxed but still looked clearly pained.

Ben waved down a cab, and got in after Ali. "I want to kill him," he whispered.

She nodded and leaned on him. "Me too." She said softly.

Ben wrapped his arms around her and held her to his chest.

She closed her eyes and let him hold her.

When they got back, Ben carried her up to their room and laid on the couch.

She sighed and sat up, looking at the tv. She was quiet, thinking.

He let her think, ready to do whatever she asked.

Ali rubbed her face and eyed out the window. "We need to escape." She said quietly.

"Why?" he asked, standing to retrieve their bags.

"I hate the Clave. They do nothing but use us an then throw us away like trash. Kill them all." She said quietly.
