Thread Topic: Havent RP'd in a while

Raven quickly followed Professor Elm, her excitement building. She had already thought about what Pokmon she'd get.

He cleared his throat as he stopped at a table. "As you know, we live in a world of pokemon and humans. Some humans train pokemon, and today you will begin training!" Gesturing to three pokeballs, he smiled. "You may choose between the three. Snivy, Cyndaquil, or Totadile."

(I think Chikorita is the grass type XD)
Raven looked anxiously at the Pokeballs. She couldn't wait to pick her Starter Pokmon! -
(XD I havent played Silver or Gold in a while, sorry.)
"Uh..." Ari looked from the table, to the Professor, then back. Picking the middle one, he stepped aside so Raven could pick hers. -
Raven stepped forward, and picked the right one. She stepped back as well.

"Good! Now...battle."
"What...?" Ari stared at the Professor in disbelief.
"Yes. The best way to begin your training is to battle eachother!" -
"Uh, ok..." Raven said. She looked at Ari. "Send yours out first."

Nodding, he sent out his pokemon, cyndaquil and looked at Raven. "Cyndaquil..."

Raven sent out her Pokmon. She grinned cunningly. "Totadile."

Ari bit his lip and instinctively compared the pokemon in his mind. "Cyndaquil...tackle..." The Cyndaquil dived at her Totadile.

Totadile tried to dodge, but was too slow. "Totadile, scratch!" Raven said, and the Totadile lashed out.

Cyndaquil dived out of the way but clumsily hit his head on the table leg as well as still getting scratched. "Er...Cyndaquil, growl." Cyndaquil got on all fours and growled the best he could at her Totadile.

Totadile stopped for a second, listening to the growl. Then Raven said, "Totadile, scratch again!" The Totadile ran at Cyndaquil.

Cyndaquil blocked but still took a little damage. "Cyndaquil, tackle!" Cyndaquil ran and dived for totadile.

Totadile dodged this time, barely avoiding the Cyndaquil. "Scratch again!" The water-type lashed out again.
