Gwen smiled at him. "Alright I'll get Audrey to her nap. You two have fun talking." She then carried Audrey off.
James blinked and looked at him. "What's wrong dad?"
Ben chuckled and smiled. "They always come back Dear...no it's someone who was taken away from us." -
He sighed, "James, please don't tell me your going to give up this girl", he smiled lightly, "I see the way she looks at you, just...wow I can't believe I'm gonna suggest this but, you know where her room is right?".
Jane looked up, a light wrinkle formed on her forehead as she frowned, "Wh-..", that's when she caught sight of her daughter, Linn smiled sheepishly, "Hi mo-", she didn't get to finish cause she was soon encased in the woman's arms. -
James blushed lightly. "I won't give up on her." He blinked. "No...I don't. Why and what are you suggesting?"
Ben smiled at them both. To tell the truth, Linn looked exactly like her mother. The only difference was they eyes. -
He smiled, "Tower on the right, and the highest room. I suggest you go there now and hide, wait for her".
Tears formed in Jane's eyes, she sighed and stroked her daughter's short hair, "Gosh, my child is finally home!".
Linn blushed, she gently pulled out of the hug and grinned, "Its so nice to finally meet you". -
James nodded and did as his father said. Of course, his old man was a sucker for romance. Well so was he but that was a entirely different matter. He quickly got to the room unseen by anyone.
Ben chuckled and hugged his wife. "Hon you don't need to suffocate her." -
Jane cuddled him gently and smiled, "Yes, I do appologise", she leaned her head on his shoulder and yawned lightly, "Linn dear, we'll speak later, right now I must go and have some rest". That's when Linn noticed it, her mother was undeniably sick, her face pale as a sheet and she was extremely skinny.
Linn nodded her head, "Yes mum".
Jane smiled, "Hmmm...go to your room for a bit, we've kept it ready for you, even got some gorgeous books and...", she sighed tiredly, "Right tower, top room". -
He quickly took his wife from the rose garden. "Jane...you know with your condition you shouldn't be outside..." He sighed lightly. "But you don't listen to orders."
James waited quietly for her in her room. -
She sighed, "I need fresh air, I can't stay cooped up in the castle all day, its so...life draining".
Linn walked up the staircase and into her room, she didn't even notice the other presence. Instead she sat upon her bed and gently hugged her arms, feeling incredibly alone. Her mother is dying, her father is a nut determined to keep her a virgin forever, and James was no longer here... -
He sighed. "I know dear, but when I find a cure.. I'll let you go outside everyday. Alright?" He knew why she was like this. She hadn't eaten much since Linn was taken all those years ago. She always stayed up and waited for news.
James moved quickly is a blur of red and hugged Linn from behind, sitting on the bed carefully. "Did someone miss me?" He whispered lightly and chuckled. -
She chuckled, "Ben, I'm not staying inside. I refuse to", she smiled, "Just trust me, m'kay? And if I don't make through this", she shrugged, "It'll be okay, you got Linn..."
She grinned and quickly turned around to hug him tightly, "Yes, yes, yes! I was so scared that I might never see you again", she exclaimed as she buried her face in the crook of his neck. -
He shook his head. "Don't say that! You'll make it through!" He hugged her tightly and buried his face into her hair. He didn't want to lose her.
He smiled and kissed her cheek. "You'll always see me kitten. I'll always try to be here." He nuzzled her neck. -
She sighed and gently stroked his hair, she had learned to accept the possibility of her death, she didn't fear it, "Oh hush, it'll be okay".
She purred happily, closing her eyes she enjoyed just being in his embrace. She cuddled him gently, "Can I kidnap you? I'll hide you in my closet". -
He held her tighter. "I wish...I wish I had a way to help. Gwen...She's been trying to find something..." He nuzzled her cheek. "I don't want to lose you. Not when we finally got her back."
He smiled lightly and cuddled her back. " I would love to kitten." He nipped at her neck. "But I have things I have to do here." He chuckled. "But I'll sneak away anytime I can alright?" -
She smiled gently and kissed his forehead, "Really Ben, its silly of you to worry so. Time passes, things happen, and people go..."
She giggled and nuzzled his cheek, "Okay~". -
Ben had worry in his eyes. "I'm not letting you go Jane."
He purred lightly and kissed her temple. "Trust me, I'll use every hour I have to see you."
