"T-that's him...h-he's Ben's dad....he is t-the one who killed my m-mother." She started shaking. Memories flashed in her head, dangerous memories she buried away.
Ben growled lowly and jumped at his father, sinking his large teeth into his shoulder. His father screamed in pain. He sliced at his chest and got kicked back. He snarled loudly and his eyes weren't their usual green. They were red, blood red. -
Jane growled, "I can't let him hurt Ben!", sure she noticed his red eyes and anger, though that didn't effect her at all. This was Ben, her Ben, she need not fear him.
"No Jane!", shouted Chase but it was too late, she jumped onto the back of Ben's dad. -
Ben's dad threw her off. "You little whelp!" His eyes slit."you! You're the wolf that failed to kill him! You little b----!" He picked her up by her throat and started to choke her. Ben roared and slammed into his father. " Don't touch my mate!!"
Gwen watched and shook more. She couldn't do anything, she failed. -
She growled, "Your the one who set me up for this!", she slashed at his face, 'Thanks! You helped me find my mate"
Chase formed into a human and hugged Gwen, "Shush. Its okay" -
He let go and glared at them both. "You both will die, so will that brat inside of her." He disappeared into a mist as Ben came at him again. Ben snarled loudly and growled.
She cried on his shoulder. God...she was going soft. What was wrong with her. -
She growled at the mist.
He stroked her hair gently, "Shuhs...Gwen, its okay" -
Ben growled lowly and stalked back into the house, slowly changing back. He didn't want Jane to see him like that....but what his father said. It bothered him.
She shivered and sighed lightly, trying not to cry more. She nuzzled his neck. -
Slowly she changed back, the bad atmosphere lingered still. She sighed and walked back into the house, her neck sore from being strangeled.
He kissed the top of her head, "Its okay to cry" -
Soon he was in his room and was curled up on his bed. Theo was gone, he didn't want to be with his grumpy boss.
She shook her head. "No more crying." She nuzzled his cheek. "I'm done now." -
She knocked lightly on the door, "Can I come in?"
He kissed her forehead, "Come, let's go get you some sweet buns" -
A muffled yes came through the door. He was scared to have her around, but he needed her.
She smiled lightly. "I'd like that alot Chase." She tugged at hid hand and took him inside. -
She opened the door and walked in, she sat on the bed next to him, "You okay?"
He squeezed her hand gently and kissed her cheek, "Okay, we'll halve it too" -
He sighed. "I'm fine Jane. Don't worry about it." He pulled her close and nuzzled her neck.
She smiled more and grabbed one for herself and held one out to him. "You'll like these ones. Redwall makes the best kind." -
She kissed forehead and smiled lightly, "I've got to worry, I'm a worrywot, its my talent"
He smiled, "I'm sure they do", he munched into the bun and grinned, "Nothing says happiness like a sugary bun" -
He chuckled and kissed her neck. "Don't worry about me, I'll always be fine. With you." He placed his hand on her stomach. "And the little one around me."
She ate hers quickly and smiled. "True enough."
