I shrugged my shoulders as the vampire's body shuttered. "Except that I didn't feel any pain." I replied, melting back into the shadows of the forest.

I shook my head at his last comment. "Stupid level E vampire. More beast than the others." I mumbled.

I easily heard her comment. I smirked. "You really should watch your words, child."

"That's easy for you to say. From what I see, you are a pureblood or half blood vampire. Or as we hunters say, A or B level. Then level C is half blood and pureblood and D is a born vampire but less than half. Level E is a bitten human. But I think you'd know that."

"Yes, but surely you don't want the entire vampire clan after you. You insult one, you insult all. You seem like a capable human, but I doubt even you would want to have hundreds of vampires wanting your blood." I explained patiently. -
"It's not like the higher levels will listen. If I kill one of the B or C levels, then I'd be in real trouble."

"In that, you are wrong. The vampires are a close-knit group that listen to each other and help each other. A long time ago, it was like you say, but now, on Earth, they are viewed as equal."

Level E's are not following rules and purebloodsss are starting to believe they are superior, with their strength and intellect being far greater than that of the 'lower' classes. Don't tell me that you can't see it. With demons everything is still stable enough, but the vampires are an unstable community. One small tip in the balance, like a human being bitten by both a vampire and a werewolf and surviving, would mean chaos."

I narrowed my eyes. "How do you know all of this, kid? You can't read about that in books. It's just started happening."

"Maybe you shouldn't underestimate me." I stated. I looked down the now pitch black path and saw several silhouettes. "Now this is gonna be fun." I said, smirking evilly.
