Okay, so if you're reading this hopefully you're a part of Powerclan. If not, we'd love to have you join! The basic idea is that every cat controls an element. Besides that, it's very similar to a regular clan.
~Chapter One: How Kits Are Named~
When a litter of kits is born, they remain unnamed until they open their eyes. Once they do open their eyes, the color will determine what power they have.
Eye Color: Element
--------------------------
Yellow: Electricity
Green: Plants
Light Blue: Ice
Dark Blue: Water
Light Brown: Light
Dark Brown: Earth
Gray: Wind
Red or Orange: Fire
Kits are named something that is associated with their element.
For example:
Electricity: Yellowkit, Thunderkit, Boltkit
Plant: Fernkit, Greenkit, Poppykit
Ice: Frozenkit, Snowkit, Coldkit
Water: Dewkit, Bluekit, Ripplekit
Light: Sunkit, Brightkit, Dawnkit
Earth: Mudkit, Stonekit, Blackkit
Wind: Breezekit, Swiftkit, Graykit
Fire: Lavakit, Redkit, Burnkit
Kits become apprentices at 6 moons old. As kits they receive little or no training from their parents. They sleep in the nursery, along with the queens. -

~Chapter Two: Apprentices and Medicine Cats~
Once a kit becomes an aprentice, they receive a mentor. The mentor is a warrior older than the apprentice. Mentors teach their apprentices how to hunt and fight, but they don't have to be from the same element. At some point in their apprenticehood, the leader of the clan will teach them to master their powers. In Powerclan, apprentices become warriors when the current leader thinks they're ready, not at a set age. Medicine cat apprentices become full medicine cats when their mentor dies or retires. The new medicine cat must pick a mentor immediately, in case of a battle or other emergency. Med cats are almost always plant cats, as they can grow their own herbs. -
~Chapter Three: The Elemental Spirits~
Powerclan's members have descended from the Elemental Spirits, or spirit cats. There were nine of them originally. One for each element-including darkness.
Electro- A bright yellow tom with lightning-bright eyes. He was the most daring, always ready for battle. Sparks flew from his paws when fought or ran.
Gaia- A pale green she cat with dark green eyes. She was the most kind, giving help to all who needed it. She had a beautiful voice, and sang many songs that were passed down through generations.
Frostbite- An icy blue tom with striking, snowy eyes. He was the calmest, keeping a level head even in the most intense of situations. His cold gaze could stop a rabid dog in it's tracks.
Rivera- A Saphire blue she cat with dark navy blue eyes. She was the most adapting, flowing easily through life and accepting change. She would dazzle the mind of any cat with her brilliant recounts of epic battles and I breakable romances.
Rayna- A heavenly white she cat with creamy brown eyes.She was the cleverest, thinking her way out of every tight spot. She was a cheerful cat, shedding light on even the darkest of cats.
Terrin- A large tom with a thick, earthy, dirt colored coat. His eyes were deep brown. He was the strongest, overpowering even the most difficult of foes. His power was unmatched, and it was rumored he could move mountains.
Winona- A pure white she cat, with stony gray eyes and a silver-streaked pelt. She was the the swiftest, her speed was compared to that of a cheetah. She was highly competitive, but also very fair.
Embrose- A flaming red tom with orange eyes that looked like a flaming horizon. He was the most strong willed, and never gave up. He had a short temper, but was extremely loyal.
Pitchett- A pure black tom, with eyes like shadows. He was the most cunning, often convincing other cats to do things they otherwise wouldn't have done. -
~Chapter Four: The Spirits' Story~
The spirits live immortaly in Starclan, watching over Powerclan. They grew together, rivalries were formed, relationships made. Rivera and Electro became mates, as did Winona and Embrose. Terrin and Frostbite argued often, and Rivera, although best friends with Winona, claimed to dislike Embrose. Despite their differences, they all shared one thing: A hatred of Pitchett. The black tom hated them all right back, for never accepting him as a friend. He soon decided that if they couldn't accept him as an equal, they would now to him as a ruler. He unleashed his ultimate powers on the other eight, and in an attempt to save the others, Rayna unleashed all her powers as well. This meant that Rayna was no longer immortal, and that she didnt have her powers anymore. Her pelt and eyes were drained of color, and she soon faded from existence. In avenging her sacrifice, the others destroyed Pitchett, but not before he passed his power onto an earth cat. The seven other did the same, beginning Powerclan, and starting a feirce battle between them and Darkclan.
